Im looking for someone who could possibly give me an answer to this.... Im on tetracycline right now and July 5th im most likely going to get prescribed Accutane, anyways I plan on taking tetracycline until my derm apointment on the 5th and I was just wondering if im taking tetracycline until i get my accutane will it like kill me or something lol? or should I just completely stop taking that until my apointment to get it all out of my system ?

i'm not sure what the effects would be...but i would definately stop taking it when you're doctor wants you to lol, that is, well before of the time you start accutane. accutane is fucked up, i got extremely bad headaches at the back of my head (doc thought it would be pseudo tumour cerebri, but turns out it wasn't after i got checked up). i still get headaches and occasional back pain 1.5 years removed from the treatment. i'm goin for a CT scan in a week or two . not to scare you, but just be careful is all .

keep taking it. and if you do start accutane just stop the tetra. you don't have to stop it a long time before starting accutane. the last time you take tetra can be the day before the first time you take accutane. just don't take them together.
