I don't get a lot of active acne anymore but what I do suffer from the most are clogged pores all around my inner cheeks, where I have always had the most acne. When I look in a mirror in bright lighting I have a ton of tiny white pimples/dots that are really easy to pick out with a pair of tweezers, but leave really nasty little holes in my skin.. I could pick at these things for days thats how many there are confused.gif

How do I minimize/get rid of them altogether..I really can't afford to piss around with my face anymore, I've got enough scars and psychological issues..Help!

I used to have the same problem. What's really helped me is Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid, applied right after I wash my face. I let it penetrate into my pores for 30 minutes before I add a thin layer of 100% aloe vera gel to moisturize. That has made SO MANY of those yucky clogged pores go away... My skin is 98% flawless after 2 months! I'd highly recommend it.

Try Neutrogena. Visit their website, check out their products, take their self evaluation test and then make a trip to your local drugstore. I can't guarentee that it will work for you, but it did for me. Also, try coffee grinds. Visit my post in the "blackhead" boards and you'll find semi-detailed instructions on how to use them.

Another vote for the Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid. Wonderful stuff.

It's not instantaneous -- I didn't start noticing a significant difference in terms of acne for a couple of months after I began using it, but I did at least see an improvement in my skin tone (less dull, more "radiant" [hey, everything's relative]). Now it's been 3 months and a bit, and I'm definitely seeing a difference. Blackheads form more slowly, pores take longer to reclog, and the blackheads and clogged pores that seemed to be spreading out from the bridge of my nose and across my cheeks are beginning to recede.

It hasn't completely cleared my skin (I'm going to try adding mandelic acid next) but has made a serious improvement.

K thanks a lot for the advice.. Just out of curiosity is Paula's Choice something you can get through stores or just over the net?
