Ok well I searched and searched for any review on the product Bruunhause but couldnt find anything that was not ebay related, so I decided to just buy it and do my own. I just got the stuff today and I must admit that I'm more than a little skeptical due to the lack of information on the product..... but I guess we'll see how it goes. I only applied it to my forehead and Im going to see how that goes, I don't want to put it all over yet, just in case I have a bad reaction too it or it makes me break out. Cross your fingers! Hopefully it works!

i just got my Bruunhause today so i'll let every1 know how it goes too..
So far feels alright, kind of a cooling feel on my skin as opposed to a burn/itch from proactiv repairing lotion.

the ingredients are:

purified water, organic aloe vera, witch hazel, herbal infusions of calendula, comfrey, burdock, green tea and rosemary, vegetable glyerin, alcohol(as an ingredient of witch hazel), metnthol, lemon oil carbomer, tea tree, xanthan diazolidinyl urea and idopropyni butylcarbamate, essential oils of lavender, thyme, palmarosa and chamomile, natural color and fragrance.

.... it feels, and smells, a lot like icey hot! so far nothings really happened but its only been two days so what can you expect?

Hmmm, tea tree caused a lot of people to breakout on these forums. I'd be patient, and use only test spots with the product.

So that's what the ingredients are. Searches on google says that the active ingredient is Hydronium, which, folks, is a fancy word for "acidic water" or "aqueous acid" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydronium

Does that mean it carries a high pH value?

Correct. Since i do chem, i can explain this a bit. However, most people will know this.

Since Water is H20, and Hydronium is H30, simply put, there is just an extra atom of hydrogen than water. The more hydrogen atoms present suggests acidic nature. Since all acids have hydrogen ions in them, thats what makes acids an acid. So yeah, its basically acidic water. And I have no clue as to why it would help acne.

The botanicals and stuff in the gel are more likely to help out your acne situation, rather than the Hydronium.

So they are marketing 'H30 treats acne', that doesn't help acne?

It can help prevent acne in some people, the oil on your skin has a slightly acidic pH to prevent bacteria. Its basically a toner so itll balance out the oil mantle on your skin. But i dont like where their theory comes in "will not only be acne free, but as free radicals are obliterated, your skin will reverse its aging process" which i got from their website. I got one thing to say about that fact, unless bruunhause can someone get rid of all the oxygen in the air then this claim is completely wrong. You can't obliterate all the free radicals that come in contact with your skin, simply because the oxygen in the air is a pretty damn good radical. Oxygen is a diradical, if these guys had taken basic chemistry theyd know that, and most aging is due to air itself. From that list of ingredients if this stuff would work its probably due to idopropyni butylcarbamate which is used to a biocide.

Hi! I have been searching for somwhere that talked about the results of Bruunhause. I found one site that ranked it at the top of their "Top 10" products. But, because they had a direct link to an ebay site where you could purchase it, I was leary. I hope that you have good results, but would love to hear what you think of it.

I am 31 and have been struggling with acne since I was about 22. Why in the heck I got it then after never having it, I dunno. But now, it won't go away! I have tried retin-A, proactive, differin, just about everything on the market. Some stuff works for a little bit, but never really helps. I hope this works!! Please post your results!

I found that bruunhause DID NOT work at all...it seemed to make the problem a little worse.
I only used it for about 3 or 4 days and gave up on it. I am now drinking 4 teaspoons a day of Apple cider vinegar (2 in the morning and 2 at night) and i haven't really broken out at all lately.

I've been using Bruunhause for about three weeks and I have yet to be impressed with this stuff. I really thought it would be effective because of the way it made my skin feel after applying it, but I have not seen the results I was looking for. I'm going to finish the bottle and hope it just takes a few weeks to take effect.

Just an update in case anyone else was wondering bruunhause was an absolute bust for me. I too believe my skin only got worse from using it... oh yet another overpriced product to add to the list.

if you do research on both of them(bruunhause, acnexus) you will find out they originate from the same company and they are both scams

I have tried Acnexus. I gave it a three month trial and I broke out even worse it was disgusting!! Not to mention the walnut shells in it that are supposed to exfoliate your skin made it really hard to use. They kept getting get stuck in the pump!

Hi guys,

Can you tell me what your standard weekly diets would contain? No need to be specific just like a general idea. e.g. meat 2 times a week/day, pasta 3 times a week, KFC, McDonalds, roasted veges, fried foods, fruits etc.

I'm just doing some research of my own and this could really help.

P.S. I looked at the Bruunhause website and while they know how acne develops in the skin they gave it their own RIDICULOUS name (Source Acne Theory...) and are just using fancy words like "Hydronium" and completely non-existent words like "bhatologists" to sound like they know what they're saying. I've only had 2 years of research and 10 years of experience with acne and even I know more than they do about acne...

My guess is they know about internet marketing and just repackaged a standard acne gel to sell as their own because acne is a huge market on the net.

Hope that helps stem the flow towards it.

I'll keep looking into it anyway because I only just found out about it but I wouldn't bother just yet. Early indications is that even Proactiv and Clearasil are better products. And those of us with severe acne know how effective they are... which is to say, they only work on light sufferers and sometimes not even then.

Oh and also, there isn't even a money back guarantee and it costs $107 for a 6 week bottle.

For those who don't know the first rule of purchasing online is never buy anything without a money back guarantee. There are many other rules but never forget that one...
