Tips For Fighting Acne
1. Follow Dan's Regime
2. Drink plenty of water (1 gallon of water per day)
3. Use All Free & Clear Laundry Detergent or similar product that is free of dyes and perfumes.
4. Do not use any fabric softener or dryer sheets
5. If your face is oily, make sure you splash water on your face every 2 hours or so, this will eliminate any chance of oil clogging your pores.
6. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies! And stay away from fast food.

1) DKR = heavy BP use, no thanks, destroyed my skin with red marks
2) lots of water, 3+ liters a day
3) maybe
4) don't use
5) i just cut out simple carbs and heavy dose omega 3, cut down my oil 80%+
6) easier said than done, fruits and veggies are mostly fiber and water, your body can't fuel itself
from fiber and water

They contain strong skin irritants. Irritant = bad for acne.

If you have sensative skin or just acne in general lots of detergents have strong irritants which will cause the development of acne. if anyone currently has acne and is using a basic laundry detergent i suggest switching over to a free and clear laundry detergent and be prepared to see a difference. also if you must use a fabric softener or dryer sheets use downy free and clear or bounce free dryer sheets, both of them are dermo tested.

1) remove milk.. it's ok to eat cheese and yogurt and such.. but no milk or ice cream!
2) change pillow case every night (clean ofcourse)
3) keep hands OFF FACE! No picky, no touchy.
4) take a shower every day
5) try to keep hair out of face
6) be gentle with your face
7) drink green tea and take flaxseed oil

These are some guidelines I apply to my own lifestyle. In no way am I pushing them on those of others:
1.) Drink an obscene amount of water.
2.) Stay the FUCK away from McDonalds!
3.) DO pop whiteheads.
4.) Don't pick at a spot that you aren't able to just pop right out.
5.) Eradicate chocolate bars and most chocolate based foods from your diet.
6.) Take primrose, borage and flax oil supplements on a daily basis.
7.) Keep the dream alive!

...or just take 4 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar a day and have ZERO spots. It's alot easier.
Then you don't have to go an over analyse everything about the who what why when how and where of acne to death.
I *always* used to get lots of spots. Now however, zero. If I stop taking the ACV for more than a few days, they will come back quickly however. And spread. As soon as I start taking the ACV again, 2 days later they will cease completely.
And I:
1) Don't drink excessive amounts of water a day
2) Eat junk food when I like
3) Don't do as much exercise as I should
4) Don't use any cleansers etc.
So just buy some, take daily, and sort yourself out! It doesn't have to be this hard.
Good luck -- moojamba. (see my regime thread if interested)

yes, but cheese and yogurt are a formented(sp?) version of milk.. and I just feel dairy products should be in a person's daily routine.. some where in their diet.. plus yogurt is really good for the bacteria in your stomach..
anyway.. when I eat cheese and yogurt I really don't get the reactions that I get from milk and ice cream...
