I was curious.. does accutane at any point make ure skin literally flake.. and not just be dry.. because i know i havvvve to be wearing makeup to school.. and i know itll suck if my skin is flaking and i cant put on makeup properly without it looking disgusting. so this may alter my decision to go on the tane. But yeah-- im really hoping it doesnt.

Your skin is going to get dry and flake, yes. So, either deal with 4-6 months of dry skin with clear skin after that -or- keep the acne. It's up to you.

yes, the skin on your face gets dry, but not horridly. before i put on my foundation i use neutrogena oil-free moisturizer on my face. it acts as a kind of barrier so there's no chance of getting yucky flakes with makeup on them. it works quite well and i haven't had any problems the past 3 months i've been on it.

Yes it can and it will if you dont moisturize often. Moisturize and you should be alright...find one that suits you best.
