Molly -
I looked at the ingredients for the Complex 15 moisturizer that you are using, and it has a VERY comedogenic ingredient: Myristyl Myristate. It gets a 5 on a 0-5 scale for comedogenicity. That may be what is giving you problems.

Don't know. Just thought I'd warn you that the ingredient is in there. Maybe it is breaking out other people without them realizing?

This sucks! I have two very red pustules, one on my right chin and one on my left chin both on the same area. Ive been eating a lot of cheese and other dairy products even though I know dairy products break me out. What do you think is most likely to contribute to this recent breakout, the dairy or the comedogenic ingredient in the complex15, or both?
I know I probably shouldnt eat/drink dairy products but almost everything I enjoy has dairy in it

Well, it could be either one or both - they could both be potential triggers. How long have you been using the moisturizer?

Ive only been using the moisturizer since Tuesday and the next day is when I broke out. I also had peanut M&Ms the day before I broke out and pizza

I don't know if it would have broken you out within one day, but if it has the comedogenic ingredient, you might be better off avoiding it anyway. Maybe see what response you get from the esthetician interview question you asked about moisturizers. She may have some suggestions for you. She does have a great moisturizer in her own product line that you might consider - she might be able to sell it to you, even though you are not a client of hers. Since it is one of her products, I know it is non-comdeogenic. It is called Cranberry Cream, and I really like it a lot.

Yeah hopefully she will have a suggestion for me, one that has no comedogenic ingredients. I would love that! Yeah you did mention the Cranberry Cream to me before. What are the ingredients?
