here is my history with accutane. i started accutane last year in september and i took it for 8 months. I weight 58kg. here are the dosage that i took: first month on 10mg, second 20mg, third and fourth 30mg, fifth and six on 40mg, seventh on 50mg and eighth on 60mg. i started clearing up toward the end of the seventh month. i just finished accuatne at the start of this month. my skin is looking great no break out, just heaps of red marks. But at the start of this week i notice that my skin is getting oily espcially on my nose and forehead. but i still have no breakout not even one. do you guy know what this means? does this mean that my acne is comming back soon. or does it mean that my skin is just adjusting to it normal self. im kind of scare that i might get acne again.

can someone tell me what is goin on here. It would be appreicated, thanks

an oily skin doesnt mean an acneic skin.
Im under tane for oily skin .. and my skin is still oily , but no breakouts

tane somehow modulates the oil and pore so its less likely to get clogged. it reduces oil but also "normalizes keratinization" so the cells are less likely to stick and clog in the pore. the oil can flow free to the skin and do what its supposed to do: lubricate.

thank for the reply guys. anyone else have some suggestion, please tell me. so it ok then that my face is oily again? so do you guys know what should i do to prevent the oil. i kind of scare to use anything on my face because it may make me have acne again.

same shit happened to me seth but it happend around now 4-5 months post accutane the oil is coming back on my forehead and nose and im getting breakouts on my forehead like everyday, kinda small ones but they're there and its weird when i was on accutane my forehead wa slike totrally normal didnt need moistruizedr never flaked nothing, it felt good, now when i wash my face my forehead like flakes like before it was on accutane and the end of the day i have a oily forehead and i never had it on accutane

i know ae. it so annoying. like u have 2 keep wiping ur face with tissue every half an hour. yea my face was like fine no oil when i was on accutane. thanks for ur reply guys.

my face has that acne feel again hard to explain but it feels like it did before accutane more when i was acne prone accutane it just felt normal
