I'm on this regimen that worked at first ....I started at the end of februrary and i was clearing up a bit. I use Joseof line. HOwever, like aroudn mid april i started breaking out and now my chin is all red (mostly from scars) and now i have two pimples that are pretty stubborn about leaving. their customer service is great and we correspond like two to three times a week.
The reason i didn't switch sooner coz i'm thinking it was the makeup i was using... I started breaking out every time i wore it. I did break out after i stopped using the makeup but it wasn't as bad. ...
how much longer should i stay on it? the breakouts overall are better than when i first started. I just really hate i have pimples now that refuse to leave.
how long do you stay on a regimen?

I think it depends on if your skin is getting notably worse or is just not improving much. Are you getting breakouts in places you weren't before? Are you getting different kinds of breakouts? I would normally give a new regimen 3 months, unless it was making my skin worse than when I started the regimen. For example, I tried Differin and only gave it about 2 months because it gave me a bunch of inflamed papules in places I had previously been clear. I stopped using the Differin and started clearing up.
Have you checked the product ingredients against one of the lists that rates ingredients for irritation and comedogenic potential? Zerozits.com has a pretty good list. If you have any ingredient questions though, feel free to post them here and I can give you my input. I have a pretty comprehensive ingredient list.
Also, have you changed anything else in the last couple months (e.g., major diet changes, starting taking new vitamins, using any new products at all - skin or hair care, laundry detergent or fabric softener)?
