Hi,

I had an IPL treatment done 5 months ago and my skin has been damaged. I have some crease/line type scars as well as some texture issues.

If anyone can reccomend a knowledgeable, experienced derm in Toronto that specializes in laser treatments it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for an expert opinion on options (if there are any) to help correct the skin.

IPL damaged ur skin?

OMG...I was planning to get it done, now, I have to re-think it again!

By damage, I mean I have some shallow dents as a result as well as these scar type lines or creases in one area of my cheek. The texture also looks crepey or orange peelish (worse then before).

I think IPL is safe as long as the doctor knows what they are doing. Make sure you have a certified derm with lots of experience and do not go to a clinic and have it done by a RN.

Ask lots of questions regarding their experience with IPL and it may be a good idea to ask them about doing a test patch first.
