I am so down. i have had a years worth of v-beam, for broken caps all around my nose, and he uses it wherever needed, i have had iraderm, and yag, for other problems, like melasma, and red marks, and pore size, and not one of these pricey treatments have done a thing for me this entire year. even when i got pupura (crazy bruising) on my face thinking maybe i'd see results, and it went down, NOTHING good ever came of it, just the same flaws everywhere. i have no flaw free skin anywhere and i can't help but look in the mirror and wanna cry and see everyone else and wanna die to have skin like them. no one understands. i still have all the caps, huge pores, melasma, and red marks, that i had before all those treatments, and my pockets are totally drained from it, if it worked, i'd pay forever, but that is not what has happened, not in the slightest.

is there any hope? any products, or other kinds of lasers "new stuff" i might not be aware of, that can help me, or might. any experience? i wear a wask of makeup everyday and my pores are so large, it's very distressing, and ugly looking, but i have no choice. i can hardly venture out anymore, and am very depressed. my life is very restricted over this, and that is sad, so my new name is sad for a long time to come.

iam only 28 yrs old. thanks you guys seem like the experts, i just feel lost. i stopped treatments cause can't afford the waste anymore.

sincerely,

Sad

Heard lots of good things about this.. Aesthera PPX, athough its pricey as i got quoted for 6 treatments it would cost roughly about £1,400.

I know how you feel, its more of the same old same old. Unfortunately as one of my derms said "if this laser dont work out for you, then Im sorry to say but theres nothing I can do for you.". I think the last resort would be going to a plastic surgeon at this point.

Guess I'm late to reply.
I'm really sorry you're going through this. I can sympathize, I'm in the same boat. I blew lots of money on treatments that didn't help.
I've started using mandelic acid to help with the appearance of my pores. I've also begun using wildberry and kojic acid for the melasma. It's a slow process, and I have another summer to get through like this.
I hope you find light at the end of your tunnel. *hugs*
