Has anyone heard/tried Acnexus

Before buying acnexus I used this site to gauge how well it went down with its users. I am currently on my third bottle, having started use in mid-September 2007.
I don't work for any company or anything like that - this is a genuine account of my own experience.
I'm a biology student at Oxford University, originally from Liverpool, UK. I've had reasonably bad skin since my early teens; not necessarily very, very bad acne, but bad enough to have seen 2 doctors and a dermatologist about it, more because of the detrimental effect it had on my confidence and it contributing to my depression.
Since a couple of weeks after using Acnexus my life has completely changed for the better. I've stopped feeling as self conscious not only about my skin but its had a knock-on effect about the way I feel about the rest of my appearance.
Even on a good-skin-week before I started using this product I could only go out drinking/clubbing with my friends one or maybe 2 nights a week because of the repercussions for my skin following a heavy/late night
Acnexus has changed that for me completely. I can go out whenever I like, speak to whoever I want confidently without trying to 'subtly' cover parts of my face or being self-conscious about being right close-up to someone.
I don't really know how to describe how its changed me socially...I just feel SO much better.
If you want take this as another false testimony and a scam...but I am HONESTLY telling the truth. I just thought I'd try and share; hopefully if I'd have read this when I was unsure about trying it I would have believed this account to be genuine.
I don't know how this forum works but please feel free to contact me any time.
I feel I owe it to the makers of this product!
Thanks,
Adam

It took a week to receive mine in the mail. I used it last night. I bought to help me gently exfoliate the areas that Retin-a has made clearly flaky and superdry. I scrubbed gently and rinsed face. After patting dry my skin some of the stubborn dry areas started to shed some of the dry skin around the pimples without pain. The area of my nose and eyes were mosturized. I will probably use this product twice a week as an exfoliator instead of a regular cleanser.
Retin-A is killing my face, I am in desperate need of moisture without residues and I think this is the product. Will post again in two weeks.

But I don't think it works alone to get rid off acne.
I am currently using Retin-A which makes my skin dry, scaly and scabby.
This is how acnexus has worked for me:
MORNING
-wash with a salycilic wash
-scrub acnexus gently for two minutes to help my skin get rid off the flakiness from the retin-a
-use Benzamycin ( a miracle drug that help me fixed the mess retin-a is causing by purging my pores)
-apply oil-free tinted spf mosturizer and then apply makeup as usual
NIGHT
-wash face with a gentle wash (cetaphil)
-scrub acnexus very gently for two minutes (i don't need to apply mosturizer afterwards b/c it leaves my skin mosturized and plumped)
-apply Retin-a
When I started using retin-a by itself (for about 2 months) I looked like a pizza face monster. it was destroying my skin - no moisture, an outbreak of pimples!. But now that I add the benzamycin and the acnexus to the regimen my skin is starting to get healthy again. I am not quiting on Retin-A. I know it's going to work. It just needs a combination of stuff for it to work. I am very optimistic. I was really depressed 4-3 weeks ago. Not anymore!

The guy that sells this stuff made the website topacnesolutions.com
he sells stuff on each individual website acnexus.com biodermazen.com
julietcosmetics.com and so on. Someone on ebay did a report on this guy.
He has several user ID's on ebay and he just buys his own stuff over and over
again. He also has a lot of people "working" for him that he just gets them to post fake testimonials all over different review sites for skin care products. The GD Labs or whatever it is doesn't really exist. He just gets fancy bottles. The whole thing just looks scam-mie anyways. I purchased biodermazen and I took 4 pills everyday for a month and it didn't help whatsoever and I talked to my derm about it and she recommended
me not to even use it. I think she has had a lot of people that fall for this kind of stuff.
I'm not saying it won't work for you, the acnexus stuff sounds like it would make your
skin really nice, I just don't it will actually "cure" your acne.

Agreed. This stuff looks like a more expensive rip-off of Carly's Clear and Smooth (which actually works pretty well). Don't waste your money on this shaddy character.
Off topic - As a Rochesterian I was curious, what part of upstate NY are you from?

I've also read a number of posts that seem like a sales pitch for Acnexus; and after looking at the methods of marketing by whoever it is that produces Acnexus I would not be surprised in the least if such posts are a load of crap.
So I guess it is time for me to put in my two cents because I woke up too early and have nothing else to do. haha! So now you get to deal with my post and like all those acne medications and soaps and creams you have laying around I may work for some, not for others, and some of you will just get annoyed with reading about yet another acne product you may or may not end up using.
I started using Acnexus about a year ago after being frustrated as all hell with other acne treatments. I honestly cannot remember what website I initially found Acnexus but I do know it brought me to the ebay store where I inevitably purchased the stuff.
Right off the bat I was incredibly skeptical of this product. It is probably something that may not be apparent to most of you but if a product has a billion and one testimonials it is probably bullshit.
The product is also linked to diet and weight loss pills-- another red flag. (and if you don't know why you should probably do your research on the diet pill market. hah)
The only aspect of Acnexus that really grabbed my attention is the fact that it is all natural. There are no chemicals added and all natural ingredients.
Better yet, no Benz0-whatever! I have always run into issues with this crap! When I was in Jr. High it bleached out the majority of my clothes, always leaves me with an oily feeling, and never actually helped clear my skin! I remember when I was going to the dermatologist I actually stopped using the topical medication (I believe it was called benzamycin). With-in a week my skin looked dramatically better. When the doctor came in to check me out he said the cream was (finally-after 3 months) working for me and I should be starting to get better. I told him that I stopped using the cream and of course he got all huffy with me. I completely stopped using it for the next 3 weeks and my skin kept looking better so my mom just had me quit visiting the dermatologist because they were just a waste of money.
I've also used everything with benzoyl peroxide from clean and clear to zap-zit, you name it and I have tried it with no luck.
To sum it all up I bought this product because I was sick and tired of using cleaners, creams, etc. that contained all these harsh chemicals that either made my skin worse, didn't work at all, or worked for a short time before not working at all. I also wanted something that wasn't backed by doctors with discordant opinions. Go to 5 different doctors in different cities and I can almost guarantee you will will walk out with at least 3 different prescriptions that are "the best!" or "better than anything else" yet all contain the same ingredients.
And also, why would I be so stupid as to trust those who make over the counter acne treatments? Does anyone else realize that if their stuff actually worked they would be out of business? We all cake the crap we buy at grocery stores on our skin, we don't know what half the stuff in the ingredients are, and we trust it because it will say something like 'dermatologist approved.' Well, they also sell pills that apparently make your dick grow larger that are 'doctor approved,' or DIET PILLS that are 'doctor approved' and I can't even begin to tell you how many law suites a year go up against the diet pill industry.
With that I figured why not try? The bottle is only $25, it does not contain anything I am personally allergic to, and does not contain any chemicals. From looking at the ingredients the Acnexus is simply a hodgepodge of different vitamins and minerals found to be effective in promoting healthy skin.
As with all vitamins one must be weary as this industry is not regulated. No one knows how much of what vitamin goes where. Nothing is ever constant. One bottle of Acnexus could be filled with a crap load of JoJoba Oil, and hardly any Avocado Oil, and vice versa. You also really don't know the quality of each ingredient or if the other ingredients, when mixed, neutralize a particular ingredient's ability to work. And also, are you allergic to any of the ingredients?-- though these same questions could be asked of all other products you use(d).
So I bought it. There weren't celebrities who pull in more money in a day than I will see in a lifetime telling me that some $35 treatment worked for them. I don't have a doctor who is influenced monetarily by drug companies telling me that the prescription they are giving me is the best, and I don't have over the counter pharmaceutical companies whose income is based off people having acne telling me their product will clear my skin in days. What's worse-- Phony testimonials? Or a doctor with 100k in their back pocket telling you something as dangerous as Accutane is your best option? Everyone is trying to scam you these days and the only way you are not going to get fucked over is to do your research and learn from trial and error. In this case, spending $25 on a face wash rather than $500+ on another visit to the dermatologist + prescription(s) is worth trying to me.
When I started using Acnexus I immediately noticed that it did not dry out my skin nor give me that unnatural greasy/oily feel. Generally when I use acne treatments my skin will feel awesome right after I use the product but within a half hour to an hour my skin will feel overly oily and dirty. When I used the Acnexus I was initially distraught as I was so used to the super-dry/clean feeling of all the other facial cleansers. After a few days of use those feelings subsided and I enjoyed the clean feeling that lasted well into the day.
I did not notice much of a change the first couple weeks but not long after did I really start to notice a difference. I would still have my 'bad week(s)' but the break outs that formed during this time did not last nearly as long as normal.
Though my acne hasn't completely gone away it has reduced significantly and seems to be improving every month or so.
I have found that if I scrub for more than 1 minute (it says on the bottle to scrub for 1 to 2 minutes) my skin becomes a little more irritated and I tend to break out a bit. I have sensitive skin so this doesn't surprise me.
As for other acne medicines or treatments I am not using any. I simply wash my face and shoulders/upper back 2 times a day; three if need be.
As for eating habits I have not changed much other than consuming more caffinated drinks like coffee or mocha's. I actually stopped drinking these types of beverages for almost 3 years because whenever I would drink them I would break out REALLY bad. Lately, though, I've found I can drink coffee-esque beverages now with only minimal breakouts
I would really highly recommend this face wash to anyone (and have). I know everything is overly sketchy but thus far I have not personally run into any problems with payments or shipping. I always receive exactly what I ordered and with-in a few days of ordering. And the product itself seems to be doing its job quite well. Not only that, but it really is worth the money. One bottle lasts at least 3 months when used on the face and upper back/shoulders. If I was simply using it on my face I could see it lasting around 4 or 5 months.
For everyone who keeps saying $25 is way too much you really have to stop fishing for reasons. $25 is nothing compared to how much most of you have spent in the last 3 months on acne treatments (especially if said treatments are prescribed.) I know saving money is a thing of the past but if you put aside $2 a week you will have enough money to buy a new bottle when the old one runs out.
There also seems to be quite a few people who expect this to work over night, or even with-in a week or two. One thing that annoys me to no end is how impatient many people have become. I could go on a whole tirade as to why but that's not why I am writing this. A lot of you really have to stick with something for a while before you can make assumptions on whether or not it is going to work for you. We are all beautiful little snowflakes and so are our acne problems. What works for you may not work for others, and what they use may not work for you. And what does work will vary significantly on how long it takes to work. Generally speaking though if somethings not showing any signs of being effective after 3 to 6 months of use that might be a sign to try something else.
All in all, Acnexus is really worth a shot. It's just $25 and completely different from what I am sure most of you typically use-- which is a good thing because if you actually compare the ingredients to all the over the counter cleaners, expensive and cheap, they are all going to contain the same active ingredients. Yet you still go out and try the same shit with a different name.

So I just got the bottle today, after having placed my order ages ago. I'm kind of embarrassed to say that my first instinct was to just throw it away because I didn't want to waste my time washing my face with some useless scrub. But I want to maybe help someone else who is considering buying this. So I think I'll use it for about two weeks and tell you guys about my own personal experience. I'm not expecting much, but who knows?
I have sensitve skin, usually dry and never without a humiliating blemish on it. I usually cancel plans or make up excuses when my face gets really bad - as it always does. And I get paranoid and afraid of zits when my face actually looks semi-clear because it never stays that way for long.
I'm sick of caring about my skin this much, of being so self-conscious when there are so many other things to care about and occupy myself with in this world. I just want to be me, and to see me in the mirror. I can't explain how tired I am of never just seeing me and showing me, always being covered in this ugliness that shouldn't define me or anyone else. It drives me crazy.
Anyways, I'm going to write back after I've done this and say if acnexus actually helps. Hopefully you don't think this is someone trying to scam you, because it's definitely not. But you can email me at type_me_sour@yahoo.com if you want to ask me anything or see how the facial scrub is working in the meantime.

I was laying on the couch watching TV. I came across a SensiClear add. So, being the desperate acne sufferer that I am, I got sucked into watching it and believing it... as usual.... But, I've learned from past experiences to research. So, I googled it.
I found mostly bad reviews and stumbled upon this site: http://www.sybervision.com/reviews/Review-...e-Treatment.php It was a bad review for SensiClear. Scroll down and you'll find that Acnexus, Juliet's 3-Step Organic Acne Kit, Bruunhause™– Hydronium H3O Acne Gel, and Biodermazen™ - Powerful Herbal Acne Supplement are all listed as "the best acne treatment". They all seem to be miracle cures.
Juliet's looked promising, so I clicked on the link which brought me to it's website: http://www.julietscosmetics.com/ It seemed great (though I noticed a lot of spelling errors), but I wanted to check out Acnexus also because it looked really great as well. I went to it's website: http://www.acnexus.com/ The first thing I thought was that the website's setup seemed remarkably similar to Juliet's. I skimmed the site and found that the two products are quite similar ingredient wise as well.
Somehow (in my desperateness) I rationalized it and decided to Google them to look for reviews. I found lots of great reviews for both products, but they all seemed very similar to each other and saying things like "it won't hurt to try it." I also found quite a few websites that "compared acne treatments.” All of these sites had at least Acnexus, Juliet’s, and Bruunhause listed as the best acne products. Here are some of them: http://getacnetreatments.com/review/juliets-organic/, http://compare-acne-products.com/default.aspx , http://acnepricesexposed.org/ . I also found a couple "Yahoo!Answers" things that weren't very helpful.
Then I stumbled upon this thread. I've always found Acne.org to be reliable. Anyway, a lot of the post here made me realize how clueless I was being. I can't believe I didn't recognize the scam right away. Luckily I didn't buy anything!

O
This is obviously a scam, LOOK AT ALL THE RETARDS posting their testimonails and PUTTING THEIR NAME UNDERNEATH!!! LOL. People on this board do not usually do that! THEY ARE ALL NEW MEMBERS AS WELL.
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! DO NOT BUY UNLESS A LONG TIME MEMBER OF THIS BOARD THAT YOU PERSONALLY HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW BUYS IT AND GETS RESULTS FROM IT.
I HAVENT SEEN ANYONE I KNOW AND THIS SHIT IS A SCAM.
From what I've heard its good for some little things here and there, but its just another product you'd find on the isles in a store. Just another thing that can help just like any other product that could help thats much much cheaper. NOT RECOMMENDED.
