if a womans acne is hormonal would their by any other symptoms? people have suggested to me that maybe my mild-moderate acne is hormonal.
i have regular periods-to the day,am off the pill and dont have any other symptoms other than breast swelling/period pain at that time.
my acne doesnt seem worse or any different through out the month and my moods are well balanced-only grumpy when acne bad
i was just curious to eliminate ?

do you break out a few days before your period starts, during your period and or when you're ovulating?

no my breakouts are random

i have hormonal acne (or had!)

acne on chin/lower cheeks/jawline
acne consistant but with flareups around ovulation /period

where do you noramlly get your acne?

i was also wondering how do u know if you have hormonal acne or not. if u break out all the time then i guess its not hormonal right?

i think a large part of it is where you get the pimples on your face and what type of pimples?

If it's cystic acne then I wuld say it's not hormonal.

Usually hormonal is the week before u break out, or during your period of when you ovulate (so the potential for 3 different times during the month) and it concentrates itself around the chin and jawline for the most part.

Some have had success with taking a Aleve a few days before their period begins to help with inflammation.

Hormonal Acne is a good theory but I always wonder about whether or not it is true, Only because Most of my life I have not had periods, which in itself is odd, but due to low body fat, athlete type issue, not bulimic

So I have oftened wondered about it

Anyone else have Absence of cycle?
