Hi - I totally agree with the original poster. I am a 42 year old mom of 2 and have struggled with acne since I was 12. I was doing everything wrong - scrubbing, using products that irritated, etc. I've tried everything over the years and still had humiliating acne. I modeled in my 20s and I can't tell you how many makeup artists gave me advice about how to clear up my skin - I even lost a big job to do a cruise ship commercial and be their host/representative because of my acne - you can't imagine how that hurt my self esteem for the company to ask me if I could clear up my skin. Anyway, on and up - thankfully I found Dan's regimen. I have been on it for 2 weeks with the AHA and my skin is crystal clear. I use Dan's products because they work and they are so inexpensive. I love the AHA because it helping my skin to slough off the red marks. I'm almost to baby butt skin and I have heard 3 people telling me I am beautiful or that I look good just in the last few days. Listen, I am not a conceited person. At this point in my life I could care less what people say. But I have to say that acne is the most embarrassing condition to man kind. It made me feel like a failure, like I was dirty and it pummeled my self esteem. I am so glad that the nightmare is over. Follow the regimen without fail. I wish the BP didn't bleach fabric, but I have learned to use white pillow cases and wear white t-shirts to bed - not a problem. Otherwise it is the simplest, straight forward cure for this disease. You must keep up on it though - I wouldn't miss it for the world, it's that important.

Take it from me, the regimen works. And to support Dan for saving our lives basically, buy his products. The products are fabulous and dirt cheap.

We're in this together - Sincerely, Brandi/HB

Bumping the thread to see if any of you have recently used Pure Deming products? Recently bought the intense Gel R-ALA and I am desperate for something to help improve my redmarks left after acne.

Hi! I'm new here smile.gif I have always had mild acne since I was a teenager, and because I am half East Indian, I always have dark spots afterwards that take forever to go away. But on the bright side, they do eventually seem to go away. smile.gif

I'm looking for some over the counter products that don't cost an arm and a leg, that I can try to help fade dark spots since I seem to have a ton of those right now.

I've read about AHA and BHA, but I don't know what grocery-store products contain these acids. I did try lemon juice last week but it really seemed to irritate my skin. I read about Extra Virgin Olive Oil and it sounds like a good idea so I'm going to give that a shot.

I don't suppose there are any combination sunscreen/moisturizer and AHA products out there? Do they recommend doing AHA at night so as to avoid sun exposure?

Thanks so much for your time and any advice!

I'd recommend jojoba oil, concha nacar bleach bream, exfoliation of any kind, and a healthy diet.

Hey all,
I just recently searched Internet to find more information about red marks and how to get rid of them and found some websites about AFA peels ( Amino Acid Peels). I've never done any peels so I wanted to ask if anybody has ever had AFA peels ( Amino Acid Peels). If yes, than how did it work for you? Are peels in spa salons good solutions to red marks problem??
Thank you.

Bio-Oil and Sudocrem seem to be two things that people are raving about. Figure I'm going to try one of them unless someone recommends something else. Which of the two would you recommend? Currently I'm using BP (Duac) and Tazorac. I think I'm going to cut out the BP but stick with the Tazorac. Can I apply these (Tazorac and BO/Sudo) at the same time or should I use at different times of the day? Currently just use Tazorac at night but could move it to the morning and use the other I choose at night (heard Sudo is thick, haven't heard how BO is).

Thank you biggrin.gif

I have found that to reduce red marks left by breakouts, specifically in trouble spots with pimples tht break out again and again, that after about three months of tretinoin in a topical gel can help at the 0.5% strength. I tried Atralin. I have had severe, persistent, annoying acne for about 5 years, and it really did help them fade. I also use a little witch hazel as a toner which really helps reduce the appearance of reddened or inflamed pores. Good luck to all.
