it burns very slightly i think. nothing to worry about, just a warm feeling. and yes it tastes bad but i juts measure 2 teaspoons and put it in a cup and then just gulp it down quickly, then juts drink some water to wash the taste away. It can make me shudder sometimes becuase of the bitterness but im ok with it, it only takes a second or two too swallow it.

Best product is still to use AHA or BHA peels then an agent that hastens the regeneration of cell repair and collagen. Agents or products that hastens cell repair are topical ascorbic acid and copper peptides. topical ascorbic acid is cheap and effective specially if you make it at home. check out my block for instructions how to make one.

I've been using vitamin b5 for around 1 month and allmost all my acne is gone, only the red marks/scars left
I've read the whole thread now, and im planing to buy:
- Puredeming Intense Gel R-ALA
- Puredeming Intense Mini-Peel Clycolic
How much should I order of them? How long will one bottle of each last?
So my questions is:
Do you take both of these products everyday or less often?
Is this something you have to use on a regular basis to maintain the results?
- Example: If you've used it for one month and are happy about the results, could you just stop using it and the marks would still be gone?
This is my first post here, so im hoping for some answers
Thanks

I bought a green-bottle liquid thing with Kojic acid but it don't seem to help that much...
I recently started using Neutrogena Facial Lotion AHA with SPF.
And my doctor prescribed me "Triluma."
Should I buy the Triluma? I heard it's expensive... and does Triluma work? It has more than 1 active ingredient to get rid of hyperpigmentation?

these are quite pricey but they really worked on fading my red marks.
you have to give them about a month before you see results.

• Improves skin density and firmness, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles
• Effectively treats even difficult skin conditions, including acne and rosacea
• Helps prevent breakouts by regulating oil production, visibly reduces pore size
• Helps skin achieve equilibrium, making oily skin less oily, and dry skin less dry
• Evens skin tone, minimizing areas of discoloration

Really? Pardon my apprehension, but I'm a little skeptical when one product which promises SO MUCH? Anyone else tried it ... do they send free samples?

Mary Kay Deep Cleanser, Neutrogena Alcohol Free Toner, PD Intense Gel and Super CP.
May 2004 bring even better products to us all!!!
Sapphire
The Mary Kay Microdermabrasion set works well for getting rid of dead skin and making skin smooth. It is supposed to help with scarring as well. I can never tell because I always have new nodules form, but when I have had a chance to use the product, I loved it!

skin tone: medium tan/latino
problem: brown marks post pimples
i've used everything under the sun, bio-oil clogged me and gave me small bumps under the skin
rose hip oil is nice but expensive and takes ages to work
my hg of scar treatment is dk aha+. i've only been using it for two days and my scars have faded significantly. i am truly amazed and delighted, NOTHING has ever worked so well, not even microdermabrasion!!
cheap and effective, love it!!

Does it work? I want to buy it but I don't know if it actually works for the red marks.

I tried it for about a month doing exactly what the back of the bottle said and the only thing I really noticed was my skin was smoother, but the scars didn't seem to change. I don't know if my scars are jus too deep, or I needed to use it longer, but I wasn't impressed with my own personal results.

I used it a few years ago, and personally, I liked it. It made my skin feel really soft, it helped keep my acne in check, and, to me, at least, it did seem to help fade my marks. My only real complaint was that the bottle was kind of small, so it ran out pretty fast.
