Hi Guys,
Looking for a bit of advice to distinguise if my type of acne is common amongst other adults
I developed "acne" on the right side of my cheek when 18. What tends to happen is that I will get a red pimple and a whitehead appears 2-3 days later. The white head is different to spots that I get say on my chin as the puss does not tend to be liquid but more a very small solid "ball" or "tube" of puss. Once the small ball or tube of puss has been removed (either by me being impatient and squeezing it out it coming out after washing my face) then a small dent has been formed behind naturally where the ball was and hence the development of an icepick scar. Hence everytime I get such a pimple and know a long lasting scar will develop regardless of whether I squeeze or let it be. I never tend to get more than one pimple at a time either.
I have been on oxtetracycline for around 5 years now, two a day. I do not know whether this helps as I still get a pimple once a month or every other month but everytime I do I know I will get a scar.
Any advice as to what type of acne it is and recommendations on treatment will be great (thinking about getting beauty skin red/blue lamp)
Thanks guys
