I am 24 yr old guy, still dealing with acne so decided to take the plunge and try my luck with Accutane. This is my first time dealing with this drug so I have a lot to learn. Just from reading these other logs the past hour it has given me the first sign of hope in a long time.
I have moderate and persistant acne, mostly along the forehead, temples, chin and back. I am supposed to take 40mg once a day in 12 hour intervals for around 6 months or more at this stage. Just had my bloodwork done a few days ago and i'm ready to battle this thing once and for all.
I will try to post photos when and if I see some improvement. Wish me luck.

Hey Redeemer!!
Goodluck on the Tane... sure it will clear u up in no time...
Ummm... the only advice now i can give is go get:
*Lip balm (Carmex ---> i find it really good)
*Moisturiser (im using QV Cream repair dry skin)
*Eyedrops (ummm maybe later on... it does gets annoying when your eyes are dry)
*Suncream (if u go in the sun alot)
Thats about what u need for the next few months... i dont sugguest using anti-acne gel/cream while on the Tane because its really strong on its own... but if your Derm tell u to then ok... use it..

Hey thanks,
I will take your advice and get some of those products. So far I have been feeling a lot of tightness around the mouth and dryness in the eyes. It's still early days yet but it's good to get started, thanks man.
