It's hypocritical for me to swing this way, but accutane is a likely solution for me, although dangerous. My dieting, exercising, and regimen is becoming tiring since results are not being produced. Day after day, my skin is not changing at all.

I went to Mother's Market today and spoke with an employee who once had acne, he pointed out 3 products to use (those that cleared him up).
First was Jarro-dophilus, it's a probiotic which aids in digestion and removes harmful bacterium in the stomach. Here's more on the item:
Description: Multi-probiotic contains the finest strains of probiotic bacteria and more than Four(4.4) Billion organisms in the following potencies for a balanced intestinal tract and digestive system (In a base of Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), enzymes, ulmus fulva and special carbohydrates):
L-acidophilus 1.150 Billion
L. rhamnosus 1.150 Billion
L. rhamnosus (Type B. Bifidus) 775 Million
S. lactis 275 Million
S. thermophilus 150 Million
Bifidobacterium longum 275 Million
B. bifidum 275 Million
Uses: To assist digestion, maintain normal cholesterol, produce natural antibodies and nutritionally support the body’s fight against conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, candidaisis, colitis and allergies.
Next he pointed out MSM. I did not buy it though.
Third was Sarsaparilla, here's more information:
Clinical research has validated the traditional use of sarsaparilla for skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, and leprosy. In 1942, it was reported in the New England Journal of Medicine to improve the condition of psoriasis dramatically. There the results of a clinical study with 92 patients was detailed which reported that it improved psoriasis lesions in 62% of cases and completely cleared lesions in 18% of cases. One of the possible mechanisms of action in psoriasis is sarsaparilla's blood cleansing properties. Individuals with psoriasis have been found to have high levels of endotoxins circulating in the bloodstream (endotoxins are cell wall fragments of normal gut bacteria). Sarsaponin, one of sarsaparilla's main steriods, was found to bind to these endotoxins and remove them, thus improving psoriasis.

Face Update: To date, my face has been nice to me. The two cysts between my eyes are going away slowly, though, two large red bumps just formed below them.
Been eating many fruits and vegetable solutions, almost completely cut out sugar.
My the skin around my mouth has been getting dry as of late because of my cleanser. I like getting dry because it will help fade my red marks around my face faster. If the dryness gets out of control I will use jojoba oil.

I am 22 years old, also have a high metabolism and currently attempting to bulk up. I too have had pimples throughout high school and for various years following until recently. My face started cleared up, family and friends commented on how good my face looked. Now, I'm not 100pct certain why this was but I have a variety of ideas.
For one, I follow a strict diet in hope to see result with my exercising. I stopped eating anything with grease. No peanut butter, butter, margarine, olive oil or any fast food that looks greasy. Now I have read in a variety of places that olive oil is good for your skin. But I recently broke my methods and started eating some greasy stuff; a few peaces of pizza here and there, peanut butter on rice cakes. As I broke these habits a few pimples started popping up over the past week or so. Then after two days of eating pasta with a lot of olive oil back to back I got a huge pimple on my chin, some small ones on my upper lip and a few on my cheek.
The only other thing it could possibly be is I recently started trying to get a base tan for the summer at a tanning spa. I’ve read some reports on the sun causing irritation to the skin. But I really hope I don’t have to stay pasty white to avoid getting pimples. That would suck.
The only other thing I have been doing different is washing my hair every other day instead of everyday. The thought I have behind why this might help reduce pimple production is that I have really frizzy, dry hair. So I would assume my body is naturally attempting to produce oil for my hair. Perhaps the body has difficulty differing between oil ducts of the scalp and face, being that they are so closely situated.

I too have dry, frizzy, coarse, hair that is stubborn. I recently switched to Jason's All natural shampoo and will hopefully see results in my scalp and hair line. Turns out my scalp is dry as well, as a result I turned to Jason's dandruff fighting shampoo because it has tea tree oil and MSM.
I'll be going to Hawaii in the middle of June so I'll be in the sun for two weeks, I am going to bring lot's of organic spf 30 sun blocker that contains green tea.
My diet is close to the paleo diet, however, mine is high calorie. Lots of protein, etc..
I use olive oil when I cook my eggs... I do not think it effects my acne.

I hope you're right about the olive oil. I love that stuff.
Just a heads up, CAREFULL with pure tea tree oil on your face. Shampoo or soap with tea tree is fine because it's diluted so you’ll be aight. I used pure tea tree for pimples on my chin like 5 years ago and ended up burning my face bad! It scabbed and just looked horrible for weeks. Since then my face is really sensitive in that area. If I rub it the wrong way it stays red for days. Sucks.
I’m looking into the Sarsaparilla and Jarro-dophilus. I’m also looking into that fish oil jazz and balancing thee Omega 3’s and 6’s. Have you had any experience with this or found any good research on it?
I’m also on a high calorie, high protein diet. Lots of eggs, nuts, meat and pasta. I used to eat tons of tuna, not as much since I found out about its high mercury content. I’ve been using a Iso Whey Protein shake and Multi vitamin for about a month now. I exercise 3 times a week and am seeing a bit of results. It’s hard for me to bulk up.
You’re going to Hawaii, that’s amazing! I live in Canada, went to cali for 3 months last summer. Now that spring is here, I’ve been watching surfing videos wishing I was going back. Hawaii would be the ultimate place to visit, the dream would be to live there one day.

Results? Nothing yet, same old acne keeps coming back. With me, my acne comes once a week it seems, they form underneath my skin (i can feel the big bumps) and soon after it turns red, then gets really inflammed, but hardly ever surfaces. Once that acne starts to heal, I get hit with another wave (usually two or three nasty ones). All of which forms underneath my skin! My conclusion is that topicals will do nothing for this because they cannot penetrate my skin.
My diet is immaculate! Yet... nothing. Exercise? Yes... 6 times a week. Oh but wait if you exercise doesn't that mean your producing way to much testosterone which can lead to acne? Sure... so I am taking supplements to balance hormones. Still have acne? Yes. Hmm what could it be? I exercise, I wash my face twice a day with Clarisonic, I eat right (high calorie paleo diet), I have a body fat percentage of 9%, and my hormones are balanced! Yet the acne still persists!
Scary thing is, I haven't seen improvement.
Olive oil should be fine, anything in moderation. ^.^
Yeah I heard a lot on these forums about tea tree on the face, I try to prevent my shampoo getting on my face.
My last thread of hope is going to be relying on light therapy.
After that, it's like... f*** it.

Been keeping my diet strict, although I have had some chocolate recently in very little amounts.
My skin: Overall, improvement.
The breakout on my left cheek was severe in terms of redness. It seemed to have mimiced my right cheek a few months back.
The light therapy I believe is treating my face efficiently and effectively.
Officially done with school! YAY!
Thus, stress should not be a factor in my skin.

Otherwise my skin has been the same. I must say though, the oil on my forehead has decreased. My nose hasn't decreased in oil production and am working on it.
Starting swimming recently, the chlorine may aid in cleansing my skin even further than my current regimen.

Got a some surface pimps this week so I grabbed some spectro gel and got a few huge deepers. I find my skin does better when I just rinse in the shower instead of using a facial wash, I tried multitudes in the past non that were extremely effective.

I have a huge sweet tooth myself. I don't know if anyone mentioned stevia to you, but it's a great substitute for sugar. It's a herb, and it's actually sweeter than sugar. Also it's natural unlike all other artificial sweetener poisons. So if you must have something sweet then this is the thing to use day to day, there is no limit to how much you should use of it since it doesn't contain sugar and is low in carbs. Also things such as honey, molasses, and maple syrup are great natural sweeteners. Unfortunately they do contain sugar but a more complex form of it. But they are still great to use in moderation.
Another thing, since you do work out you and live in a warm climate you actually shouldn't be afraid to get a little more sugar into your system. But you still should get that sugar from natural sources like fruits and avoid actual sugar. Hope this helps!
