i have been on accutane for four months my skin is doing great...it is also very thin.the other day i scratched my forehead and it started to bleed.i didnt even scratch it hard.i love that my skin is no longer thick and bumpy but after tane will my skin be less thin???in a way i love it and it a way its kinda scary how easily my skin can become so thin..thanks

ummm as i rememered, mine was oily when i started and when i stopped... oil came back in a few days and also less sensitive as u mentioned. Some people will have a different skin type after, like oily to dry... but Accutane does make your skin sensitive so be careful with it.

Thin skin is by far the most annoying side effect for me. I get irritation if I wipe an eyebrow, for christ's sake.

Shaving is sometimes a hassle as well.

Yea my skin just got thin like that... but something that's really gross? my fingernail like peeled upward and it's not even long or anything... my skin is so delicate now it's crazy!

glad to see im not the only one.so the oily does return???that suks..isnt that the whole point of taking accutane??im so scared to come off it fearing that the breakouts will return.i still get one or two here and there.but only when i have alot of dairy i thought i would be able to eat anything on tane guess not.i was surprised when even my derm asked me if i eat alot of dairy.and then told me try to stay away from it.oh well i cant really complain accutane has been so good to me..im sorry i waited this long.but you live and learn right???lata

yeah lmao, I'm scared to go off accutane aswell for the fear of breakouts, but I must agree, think skin sucks.

I just gently rub a tissue across my cheeks and it feels like its burning
