Hello ya'll,
SO after what seems like a lifetime of dealing with acne tonight is the night. Blood work done and prescription filled i will take my first accutane pill tonight, 40mg.
I am 30 years old and have done all the regimens, pills, naturopath, creams,diets etc. Some worked temporarily some didnt work at all.
my derm has been suggesting accutane for the past two years and i have been reluctant as I have come to learn most of us are considering the side effects.
However at this point i have exhausted all other options and reading everyones posts on here has given me a bit of hope that this will all work out for the best!
my acne has got considerably worse in the last year...cystic, deep pustules and the usual small white heads and blackheads its begining to leave scars and something needs to be done! Accutane to rescue...

I will do my best to keep a detailed log as all the detailed logs on here have helped me so much...
