This may not be in the correct forum, and i apologize if thats the case.

I just wanted a few suggestions on moisturizers. I have been taking accutane for a month now, and i really dont get that dry at all. I get a little flakey around my nose, but its barely noticeable. However, my mg per day is being bumped up this month, and i am thinking that investing in a good moisturizer would be a wise move. However, i dont really want anything thats going to make my face really greasy or irritated, or set me back in any way.

At this point the accutane is working really good, my face has never felt/looked this good, and its a HUGE releif that its all due to just using a pill and Dan's gentle cleanser in the shower, rather than putting layers of crap on my face twice a day.

So if anyone could give me any helpful suggestions that might help the extremely LIGHT flakiness that i am experiencing(even though i am sure it will worsen overtime), without making my face feel oily or cakey, that would be great! Thanks!

Hello! So glad accutane is working out for you. I am on 60mg a day now at Day 42 and I am using, and have been using, Vasaline Intensive Care Healing Moisturizer for my face. I got it at walmart and it comes in a little/medium size white tube with a blue lid. Its in the normal lotion section not only with the other face lotions. It was recommended to me before I started accutane...and I like it alot...doesn't feel greasy or block my pores at all! I love it, once its on, you can't even tell you put it on, feels like you've just washed your face. I will probably continue using it once I am off accutane. Hope it helps!
