Fish Oil does not break you out period.
You need to use anything AT LEAST a week before you make judgement on it anyways.

Make sure you check what else is in your fish oil tablets, in addition to the EPA and DHA. Two weeks ago I switched to a cheaper brand, the 'store own brand' of my local supermarket, assuming that the pills would be from the same manufacturer, just in different packaging.
So despite having been 100% clear or as close as possible for about 9 months, my skin has been getting slowly worse over the last 2 weeks, and I decide to check what's in these new pills. Instead of gelatin as the filler/packing agent like my old pills, these ones have sunflower oil!
So I'm guessing that although there is more omega 3 in these pills than omega 6, the omega 6 from the sunflower oil is reducing the effectiveness of them a little bit, so by taking the same number of pills a day I'm not getting my full dose.
I'm switching back to my old omega 3 pills as soon as possible! This website does good quality pills at a very reasonable price - buy one get one free on everything and generous discounts/free gifts if you spend over certain amounts:

How do you know it has anything to do with the sunflower oil? Maybe it's just the quality of the fish oil in the cheaper non name brand product you were using. It having the same or more EPA/DHA as another product doesn't mean anything. Quality means everything when it comes to supplements and with fish oil especially. Some fish oils can literally be toxic depending on where the fish they use come from.

Most likely. People usually eat more than twice that in omega-6 fatty acids every day. Just make sure you're eating at least as much omega-6 as omega-3.

anyway, omega 3, 6, and 9 is good for health in general, but i dont think it has much effect on acne.
