your all talking about getting the Omega 6 and # at a 1:1 ratio, what does that mean? how mutch should i take of eatch? I got these seal Oil pills lying at home and it sais it has 3 fatty acids; DHA, EPA and DPA and the pills also contain Omega 3,6,9.
it sais if i am to take 4 pills i get this amount:
omega 3 = 630mg
omega 6 = 84mg
omega 9 = 930mg
DHA = 328mg
EPA = 256mg
DPA = 152mg (you guys said DHA and EPA is good for acne, is it the same with DPA?)
Is this fairly balanced? or? what should i add?

what i have noted is that right now my skin is much softer, and a little less oily so i think that my sebum content has changed.
without over hyping this phenomena and turning it into something its not, i would still like to say that my acne is clearing up although its not dramatic it is a stable and consistent improvement at a rate of about 3% improvement per day, which compared to any other treatment ive tried is actually pretty miraculous.considering on accutane you could be breaking out for the entire six month course before you clear up.
Ive been researching omega 3s obsessively for the past week or so. And also just started this.
there is tons of scientific proof that this stuff helps or could cure acne.
so if you want it, i got it but so far all my posts seem like they are falling on deaf ears because no one understands my jibber jabber.ha
the key is to balance your omega 6 to 3 in a 1:1 ratio.
remember that sebum is fat, it would only make too much sense to see a relation to the quality of dietary fat and sebum.
congras mate!!!! for ur improvement
where can i get those from and do i need a pres. to get that or i can buy anywhere. does that have any side effects. plz let know.
congrs once more in the fight for goddamn f**kers

Can someone please help me with my question regarding olive oil. I know I'm a bit off topic..sorry. Is it ok for me to eat heated olive oil? Will heating the olive oil (in cooking) make it rancid or harmful or cause acne (will it cause inflammation)?
Thank you!!

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have eaten heated olive oil for eyears
and do not think it has caused any any inflammation, at least not in my case.
but allways use" medium-low heat

Yeah, most people here have found success with at least 3 grams a day, which is 5x the amount you're taking, assuming your fish oil capsules are standard-sized.

Provided it's not extra virgin. Extra virgin tends to smoke, and the oil has an anti-inflammatory chemical in it that is broken down by heat. EVOO is best taken without cooking, just pour it on after cooking.

I just want to say do not stop taking the pills, my acne came back when I stopped taking them, and then when i started taking them again my face eventually cleared up again but it took a good few weeks again.
Now for my own question: I noticed that when I take more than 2 grams a day it affects my bladder (makes it REALY soft to almost watery... anybody else experience this?? ) thanks!
