Hey all,

I'm Brandon, 18 year old male from Texas.

I've been struggling with light/moderate acne for around 4 years now, taking mostly BP for the better half which worked fine. As my skin worsened, I went to the dermatologist on and off for about a year and a half trying various antibiotics which helped for a while until the dosage was lowered. I decided to go on accutane because although I'd only have one or two active pimples every so often, the red marks are piling up which makes my face look a million times worse than it should (don't we all hate red marks?).

Tonight I took my first dose of accutane (taking 40mg pill twice daily) ready for my five month journey to that clear skin that I've always wanted. I hope it works!

You sound exactly like me mate, red inflammation marks making your face look like a warzone..

I know Roaccutane cures acne for good but I really do hope it calms down the redness.
