alright.. soo ..
i started accutane bout 2 weeks ago from tommorow

and i saw sumthing saying on you cant drink on accutane?
i need to know if thats true.
cuz i tend to drink alot.lol

not good i know. but still.

but what will it do to me if i tend to keep drinking?
or just lower down on it, as in like maybe just once a week or sumthing

I would cut back, and if you have any problems with your liver stop completely. i drink sometimes, and my liver is fine.

Moderation is key. Stick to social drinking only, and then, try to do beer instead of hard liquor.

yeah... don't drink too much on tane man. I do about once/twice a week and skip my pills for that day when i drink. Drinking affects your liver and tane affects your liver so basically you're multiplying the stress on your liver. Make sure to ask your derm about your blood test to see if anything is wrong. My derm told me that one or 2 beers a week is fine, but i do way more than that and i think im fine....hopefully no long term effects

Yah i only drink about once a week....... accutane is strong and i wouldnt chance it

i drank on roaccutane. i used to like goin out friday/satday nites, and i wud drink the same amount as when i wasnt on the drug
my blood tests come back fine

im startin on accutane on monday again, this time i plan to cut alcohol down to mayb a can on friday nite and sat nite, thats it

i drink quite a lot now
i have 2 glasses of red wine a nite and i have 5 cans of stella fri and the same sat
so it wil be very hard arghhhh

but yeah, for the most part i only drink on fridays and saturdays.. since im still in school.

and who said just do social.. thats all i do anywayys, i dont ever not drink when its just me
and hard liquir.. yeah thats what i drink sumtimes.. but it tends to be more parties with beers like kegs and shit. so no worry about that.

I'm on pill 22 today, and I've drank hard alcohol twice on two different occasions, as well as a few beers here and there and not much has happened to me. I don't feel any different. But then again, I have not yet gone to get my first blood test since being on accutane. We'll see when the results get back. I'm sure if you drink in moderation, you'll be fine. Just don't over do it.
