well, i'm not much of the blogging type, but i feel the need to start since the months ahead of me are going to be quite long. not only am i starting accutane on friday (first prescription, yey!), but i have kind of a complicated situation at hand. My sole career is traveling, which makes it very hard to be on accutane. But all i want is a clear face!!!

i did not have acne until around a year and a half ago, the summer before my senior year in college. Before then my face was, for the most part, relatively clear. Then all of a sudden massive breakouts at random times. Nothing in correlation to my menstrual cycle, NOTHING! my doctors did some tests to see if it was hormone related and nothing came out, so i just started going to the dermatologist in hopes that something would work. And here i am now, with nothing that worked. So...last resort...accutane.

my hope is to have a clear face by the time i have to come home for good (i travel from place to place, no stops at home). except for my two days off a month in which i will come home and visit my good 'ole friends at the dermatology office

so, i start on friday. wish me luck because traveling and accutane might not work so well with the high altitudes of planes and the fact that i meet new people every week (good first impression, ugh).

i'll keep posted so i can vent about the many problems i'm sure i will encounter!!!

Good luck with your course - your "my sole career is travelling" sounds interesting - whats that then ??
