Hey everyone! The name's Natalie, I'm soon to be 17 and well, I thought that by now...my acne would have cleared up.
I started breaking out at about age 11 and i cleared up at age 15 and I thought that it would stay that way until i started breaking out on my cheeks. I was using proactiv and i stopped for a week and during that week, they were just popping out like daisies! Finally when i started using proactiv again they got better, but two weeks later they came back with a vengeance. Ever since then ive had cystic acne and its only gotten worse over time. So...I went to the derma to see what could be done and she wanted to inject my face, and being the total weenie that i am, i refused.

Now I'm seriously considering taking accutane, and I'm on my way there, but Im pretty nervous about the side effects. I've seen the before and after pics and I'm truely amazed. I want to have clear skin again and I just need some reassurance that it'll be worth it.
