Ive had acne from 17yo to 28yo, 11 years!
Any guys out there had it longer?
I'm sure im on for a record! Is there a time limit for guys to stop getting acne?
I know that women can get it later in life but was wondering if its the same for men?

I know of adult acne, but I actually hear about more women in their late twenties getting it than men, so that's odd. I mean, it's not like we go through constant hormonal changes. *gets on knees and prays to God*

i haven't had it longer, but i got it earlier than you, the summer between 5th and 6th grade was when it all started...

My acne started when I was 12... I'm now 21... It haven't dissapeared...

yes i have, but its no competition. some people on here have had it to their 40's etc... its something to think about eh?

Yah well my acne was pretty bad at 19 as well. I thought that when my teenage years were over my acne would be finally gone but no luck. I had to go on my 2nd treatment of accutane before most of my acne went away.
Something to think about it.

hey, same here. when my acne was really bad, i went to the derm and he told me that i would have acne until my mid adult life.
but i did accutane and experimented with different regimens, and things got better (all clear but with scars). but the little fuckers are coming back again, so im going back on accutane soon, and hopefully it will be the end of it. now, seeing as how htings are going, i dont think ill have acne when im much older, i dont think you will either as long as you take initiative to take care of it. goodluck
