I am 44--quite possibly starting to go through perimenopause-hormones check out normal via bloodwork.

Started breaking out intermittently a yr ago and then 2 months ago--my face became a complete mess, especially around chin, mouth area and between eyebrows. Previously had dry skin before and now it is oily in those places--AND I rarely had even one pimple. Last year had to pile on moisturizer and now oily skin. What in the world is happening??? I also have mild rosacea and am scared to start routine but I HAVE to do something. Anybody shed light on what could be happening?

Thanks whistling.gif(

The first guess would be it is down to "the change" (early stages perhaps). Your hormones are probably totally out of wack except that your blood test says no? Well, I suppose, unless you had a previous test to compare it with, it doesn't mean that there hasn't been a hormone change and your body is still catching up with that.

What kind os acne do you have, is it cystic?
