has anybody else noticed that their skin looks a LOT better in the first couple hours of the day compared to the last two? why is that?

For my skin atleast, it's because the pores aren't filled up with this oily substance my skin seems to be producing, maybe it's the same with you.

I'd imagine because it's fresh from a good nights sleep or at least a good nights rest. when i wake up my face looks great , nice and smooth etc and the redness isnt as red.
My face is really puffy looking though the first hour.

I'm on accutane so there shouldn't be too much oil by the end of the day. Too bad I cant get it to stay like that all day.

My red marks aren't as noticeable when I first wake up, in fact I can't even see some of them. Then after washing and applying BP and moisterizer, BAM there they all are
I'm super-freakin' gentle too, well as much as I can be with these banana hands...

My skin is at its worse in the evening and during the night, this is the only time I ever get spots developing, I've often wondered whether there was some connection ... why would my spots only develop during the night?

Same with me. When I first wake up, my face actually looks alright....red marks are hardly noticable. It's only after a shower and applying glycolic & salicylic acid combo that I see them all.....and then I wonder how I'm going to cover them all with make-up. It sucks.

Sleep is very important for your skin.
Sleeping is the time when the skin rejuvenates itself.
