Hello!!

First of all, I want to thank you all here for giving all the info. Been browsing this message board for a while, but I just registered today. Today is my second day on Accutane, 10 mg. I think I have the responsibility to input here??

I'm 30/f. Have acne since very young.. but it got so much worse about 2 years ago. I went from mild to severe. I was reluctant to take Accutane coz of the side effect. This board provided me a lot of info, (your logs!!) now i'm taking the chance.

ok.. about the med. i just popped my second pill. I haven't seen any differences yet.

Day 3

Nothing much. Got a small new one above my lip and one below my chin. I hope they won't evolve to big ones!

I put honey with my apple cider vinegar.. it tastes good!!!

Happy New Year!!

Today is the fifth day of accutane. I still have some new acnes. But they are much smaller now and the ones I had two days ago 'died' the next day. I wonder if they are the ACV effect? This morning, I have sore throat. Still a little uncomfy. Hope it's not the ACV that burned my throat.

So far, I'm satified with the result.

Day 7!

my face is oilier! What happened? and since yesterday, i'd been feeling something in my nose. got home from work, found 4, 5 tiny acnes!!! nose doesn't feel the pain, so i popped them out.

I tried that st. ives scrub, i think it irriated me. I'll try one more time next week, if same, i'll discontinue.

Day 9

Still oily.. but not that oily like day 7. Although I'm only taking 10mg, the side effects started today. I saw blood when I cleaned my nose, just the left nosile( ?) tho. And I suffered from joint pain in my right arm for a short period of time.

Still I have new acnes, tiny tiny ones..

it's frustrating!!!!

Day 10

the acnes on my nose became big. My nose usually doesn't have acne until I used that St Ives scrub. It's horrible now. But I heard as ACV detoxes, the dirt in the skin would come out as zits. Hope it's true.

I don't sleep well these two days. Woke up in the middle of night. don't know if it's the nose wakes me up or what. But my nose is itchy!!

Day 11

My skin is much better today, not oily. Very possible, because my period came yesterday. Usually my skin becomes horrible before period, then turns into GOOD after period's here. the acnes came before are gone!! except a new one below my lower lip. Looks like a big one. i hope ppl wouldn't pay attention to my lower lip. hahhaa

Day 14

no big differences. Still ok.. But i can feel that there's 3 goddamn acnes are coming out. Will have my first follow up tomorrow. I gotta ask the dr for some injections.

had my first follow up today. everything seems fine. had some injections for my up-coming acnes.. i asked if i could increase my dose next time. doc said no, need to take time. I'm actually thinking this doc is trying to slow down the process so he'd make more money (I pay $10 for each follow up!!!) He's not nice.. i need to get it cured ASAP.

Ohhh.. i start to take omega supplement too.. hope it helps!!!

haha.. can't remember what day it is...

well... actually, nothing much to update. No new acnes today tho. feel good!!! i read quite a few here.. i dont' think it's the med i'm taking, because it's only 10mg. I think it's the apple cider vinegar. don't know tho.. i started both almost at the same time.

one thing is my concern.. now i'm so used to the taste of the vinegar.. i can put more into the same volumn of liquid... does that mean my taste bud is not that sensitive like before??? hmm.....

Still.. nothing much to update.

I think another big one is coming up on my left cheek. Oh yes, there was one on my chin, but it died out maybe after one day... faster than before.

My skin is quite dry today... two little zits pop up. I always have two red spots besides my nose. they become itchy lately.

I hate to look at myself after work out... the post-work out redness makes my red marks soooo obvious!!

The acnes that came up about two days ago are still here. Before, the acne just died and dry out overnight.. now.. kind of back to the good old days.. but a bit better than before of course.

will go to a job fair tomorrow.... sorry that i need to squeece the acne tonight.

a huge acne is on the middle of my forehead. it looks like one that would last for a few days!!!! besides that.. so far so good!

Yesterday I saw my doc... he prescribed me 40mg now. today is my second day on it. I thought it would be a big difference, but no.. don't feel anything yet. He did some injections for me. he also said it's harder to get rid of the red marks while on accutane.

there's one zit coming up beside my chin.. hope it's a small one!

haven't updated for a while coz my face had some quiet days! hehee nothing much to update.

my face is still like that.. but my lips is always dry!!! i need to put on lotion everytime i wash my hands. not the face tho.. i'm thinking maybe it's the ACV or omega oil???

OK... i just had a shower and i found 3 little zits around my mouth!!!! they don't hurt and they are quite small that i didn't even notice!!! hope they die soon!!!!!!!!!!
