I've been on Accutane since August. I'm not quite sure what it is, but let's say my face flushes a little bit. On my left cheek under my eye I've noticed that around that problem area the skin stays white even If I am flushed around that area. Like in between the spots I had the skin would be lighter than the rest. And I can tell a little in the lights in my bathroom, so outside lighting and school lighting must let it really stand out. It's strange.
Does anyone know what this is?
white blotches

If you're flushing and it burns or hurts around that area then it may very well be Rosacea. Other than that your situation sounds pretty awkward.

it doesn't burn or itch. It's just weird flushing pattern or something.

I have red blotches on my face under my right eye and it is extremely dry. Down around my laugh lines it is red, dry and burns and itches when I put on moisturizer. I use cetephil and have been using it for a while. Could this be rosacea?

it might. I'm no expert on rosacea but if even after constant moisturizing it is irritating and red it might be another issue.

Actually it's quite hard to tell what it is without any sort of pictures. But what you describe doesn't really sound like Rosacea to me.

I finally figured out what the problem was, it was the cethpil and the dove sensetive soap I was using. I switched back to Neutorgena clear soap and have tried Curel continous comfort and it seems to have taken care of a number of things. Thank God! the burning and itching and flaky skin were driving me nuts, and the skin under my eye is so much better now. I still itch a little but I think its because of the winter weather and the furnace running at home and work. I hope so, I was about to give up on anything.
