I lost count of what day im on and how many pills i have taken...
Maybe like 62 pills take or something like that???
I was doing so good...i didnt have any active pimples...just redmarks...
and then...two pimples on my forehead (which looked great before, no redmarks or anything)
One of the pimples is extremely red.
And all of my redmarks look REALLY freaking red.
This sucks.
I thought i was done breaking out.

Take time all the redmark will fade away about 6 months or so
Don't take hot shower cause when u take hot shower your skin will try to produce oil and plug up and create bacteria
Just warm shower 5 to 10 if u get out the shower u see smoke on your mirror that is no good

Went to the Derm yesterday.
Just finished up 2 Months so now im starting my 30rd month.
I was on 40mg for the first month, 60mg for the second and i will be on 60mg for the third.
Everytime i write about my face doing good i always seem to jinx myself but right now i dont really have anything active. I have 2 that I got a few days ago and now they are pretty much all dried up and are healing. Then I have 2 places where i had pimples a few weeks ago and there are still under the skin bumps there that i can feel but they arent noticeable. My forehead is completely clear, my left cheek has 2 redmarks, my chin is clear, and my right cheek has the 2 healing pimples and scattered red marks. If i didnt have the red marks then it would be even better, in the morning when the red marks arent noticeable my face is pretty much completely clear (knock on wood).
Side effects- My face really isnt that dry. I hear alot of people talking about alot of flaking and extremely dry skin on their face, Im not experiencing that and i hope i never will. Right after i wash my face my face is pretty dry but besides that as long as i put lotion on then im usually fine. I hope it stays that way.
Same old, same old with the corners of my mouth. My lips arent really that dry its just the corners which are constantly cracked/peeling and painful. I wish they would heal.
The skin on my body isnt really that dry. The places that i noticed are dry are on the tops of my hands and around my elbows and thats pretty much it.
I'm always tired but I doubt that has TO much to do with Accutane because I was always tired before i went on Accutane, maybe it just adds to it a bit.
I have been having problems with my back and it being sore and painful but my derm says thats a normal side effect of someone who is on accutane and playing sports.
Thats all i can really think of right now.

Hey congrats on your improvement so far - it sounds like overall your acne is getting better, but of course any little breakout feels like a step backwards. Keep us updated, I am considering Accutane for my mild-moderate yet persistant acne and want to get some more opinions. Thanks for sharing your log with us! Keep updating if you have the time.

Half-Way or so through my 3rd Month
I thought I was finally done breaking out but nooooo of course not.
Over the past few days I have had a few small pimples that are hardly noticeable and go away within two days or so. Right now i have two of those that are in the process of going away which isnt bad. BUT about two days ago i started noticing one of those under the skin bumps on my cheek and now its getting bigger and more inflamed everyday...and if thats not enough there are two more bumps right next to it that i have a feeling are going to be big but im going to PRAY that they go away.
I was doing so well. For the longest time i didnt have anything active just red marks which are easy to cover with makeup.
I wish i could make this one on my cheek go away! Anyone know anything to do to make it less inflammed and to make it smaller....?

Went to the derm today.
I will be going into my fourth month tomorrow.
My derm said that my face is looking pretty good which i suppose I will agree with. Not to much on my face besides a few pimples that are healing/almost healed and redmarks. Side effects still arent to bad although now im starting to feel the dryness. Around my eyes is really dry and my neck is also really dry for some reason, I need to start using lotion/more lotion.
