Hi there,

I recently finished up on Roaccutane. I was on it for 7 months and it completely cleared up by back acne. I’m very pleased with the results.

That said I had a rough time with nose bleeds, dry lips and dry eyes. Towards the end of my treatment I started to get some aches and pains. I get a pain in the middle of my back just below my lungs that starting to cause me concern. Its the strangest of pains. It only every effects me when I am in bed lying down. Once I get up it slowly fades away. Its a dull pain...not acute.....but its starting to make me a bit nauseaus in the morning only sometimes)

I finished Roaccutane around 2 weeks ago. My dry lips are clearing and my nose had not bled Has anyone had back pain similar to mine...and if so how long till all the symptoms cleared up and you were completely "normal" again!!!

Hey bud,

Not had the back pains, but the accutane will stay in your system for a while after you have taken your last pill. Im 5 months on from taking the last one and everything is back to normal (except for the grease and spots).

You were on a much higher dose than me though so I expect your symptoms will be worse and it will take longer for you to return to normal. I know about the aches and pains though after doing a bit much at the gym while on accutane eek !

Yeah I was on a higher dose.....but it was all relative to my size/weight.

Has anyone out there first hand knowledge of the time it took for all their symptoms to go away? Including aches and pains if you had them?
