PanOxyl have just released this new 5% bp cream. At least I assume it's new because I've never heard of it before. The ingredients seem identical to Oxy On The Spot except with 5% bp so I assume it's the same as Oxy 5. At only £2.50 it's cheaper than Oxy 5 though eusa_dance.gif

It should be less drying than the PanOxyl gels that some people hate.

Just noticed, this stuff was formerly known as benoxyl cream.

I have just started the regimen literally an hour ago. I am using this 5% panoxyl cream. Dan says somewhere that 5% shouldn't be too much of a problem. I will let you know how I get on.

I'm using it on my forehead and it's working really well.

I think I am going to try oxy 10 2.5% as I think the 5% one is going to be difficult to get used to, my face feels sore so I have to put loads of moisturizer on. Also it seems to dry on the surface of your skin before its absorbed and then flakes off. Will use it sparingly till I can get the oxy stuff.
EDIT (later that day). Sod it I am just gonna bite the bullet and order dan's stuff : )

You mean Oxy On The Spot - that's the 2.5% stuff. It's a good choice too. The cream is exactly the same - just less bp in. The thing with these creams is not to keep on rubbing. Just make sure the skin is totally covered and then just leave it for 5 or 10 minutes to absorb. If there's any left when you come back you should be able to gently rub it in. You don't need loads of cream - especially not if it's 5%.
