My skin had been doing fairly well for quite some time. I didnt think it was anything I was using b/c I stopped using everything except for the St. Ive face wash and an occasional dab of Neutrogena On The Spot Treatment. So two days ago a zit starts to develop in the area a little under my eye and nex to my nose. It looks like three whiteheads came together. So of course I pop it and now I have a huge hole in my face!
What do I do?! It hurts really bad too, I mean it hurt before I popped it too.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

take a picture of it and see how it progresses...

it may leave a pothole scar it seems you popped it deep.

just keep puting some neosporin daily on it and cover it with a bandage...or you could just let it scab and dont irritate it just keep it cleanmake sure it heals well and dont pick at it anymore.

the only downside is that their may still be some oil left inside....i hate those kinda zits the most...when more build up is left and then you have to keep squeezing it out...usually when the pain is gone you got all the oil out.

Thanx for the advice. I think theres still oil in there cuz it still really hurts. I did just go and put some neosporin on it. I'll try to take a pic, all the ones Ive done so far come out really blury.

just make sure that when you do pop it...u get everything out. there's usually a tail, so if u still see some white stuff inside the hole...that means its still there and could just become another white head.

Thats the worst.. when you pop a pimple but don't get everything out.. and another one, usually worse, will pop up in its place..

Ok, I get what youre saying about not getting everything out and then another whitehead surfaces but I have a question. What if when I contiue to try and pop it all I get it blood, even though I know theres more in there but its just not coming out? It hurst soooo bad too.

ya if its just blood coming out its just your skin being sore...usually when its blood coming out now that means you cleaned it out...i notice when i pop a white head and that HARD oil bead comes out too then blood comes out...

I hate it when its that hard oil pead they are small...what do they call those things?

Hard oil beads are from blackheads, no? I used to get those all the time...

I have a really hard whitehead right below my bottom lip. I can literally feel it on the inside of my mouth with my tongue. It has been there for 3 weeks now. I'm actually wishing that it will turn into a pustule so that it can drain and go away. How do I get rid of this sucker? Hydrocloric acid?

that must be real painful!

i hate having pimples in certain areas like near the lip, or around the nose or on the nose...when you try to squeeze it tears come out its so painful cause the pimple is on nerve endings...

i hate those.

So guys I just washed my faced a white head came off by mistake! Now there's a tiny small hole what should I do? Will it fill in ? What should I put on it? I need help!

BP and antibiotic gel/ pure petroleum gel.

Can't say definitely but it will probably heal over and less chance of it leaving a mark. Just don't fiddle with it any further. Might be a bit pinky first, then a scab and probably fall off on it it's own. Keep applying neosporin throughout the day on it, keep it moisturised.

I don't mind it leaving a red spot I just don't want the hole! Okay what if a scab doesn't form within 24 hours does it mean it's a permanent hole? I applied Retin-a on it

You really can't tell. You just have to wait. No-one knows. Just keep applying neosporin throughout the day and keep your hands clean when doing this and other than that try not to touch your face. I usually use BP and an antibiotic gel, this helps if I don't prod it further.

I have that sometimes. don't be worried about it. It will be filled in within 48 hours. except i use AHA+ for it.

I don't have neosporin so I used Bactroban Mupirocin instead. Hope it closes up tomorrow I have a BP lotion but I don't wanna use it don't wanna cause further irritation. God I hope the hole closes up tomorrow

BP and an antibiotic gel? Which antibiotic gel do you use, and would you apply BP to that area first and than 10-15 minutes later the antibiotic gel.. or is it the other way around

i think what you have is just a pore.

I had 3 pustules on my forehead, and they fell off a few days after they formed ( i put BP on them and they dried up and peeled off). Each one left a small hole.. but the hole closed up after a few days.

I just applied neosporin to that area for like 3 days

and also, can neosporin or polysporin ever worsen this? What about applying bp or an aha?

Is applying BP the same as applying neosporin since they both kill bacteria, or would neosporin be more effective?
