What do you guys use after you shave, i've just shaved and my skin feels really horrible now, its irritated, sore, and stings, is there anything to use after shaving to make the skin feel better.?

If you're not already i'd recommend using an electric shaver instead of a razor.

Seconded. I hear the Philips Coolskin available for £75 from http://www.shavers.co.uk/ is nice. Personally I use the Philips SmartTouch XL. It's worth spending the money for a quality electric.

Might do that, but i do like my wet shaves as it shaves closer to the skin dont it, and you dont get that look on your skin which most men get after you have been dry shaving for ages, cant explain what i mean by that though, hopefully your know what i mean.

Definitely you need to get one of those Philishave Coolskin shavers from the website I posted, or also from amazon UK for the same price. You can use it in the shower and it comes with Nivea for Men cartridges so its like a wet shave but without the cuts and irritation. It's a bargain at half price £75 - ask for it for Christmas!

This is the one I use: http://www.shavers.co.uk/shopping.php?product_id=455 but I'm thinking of buying that Coolskin you posted so I can shave in the shower and also there's a 28 day money back guarantee so if I don't like it I'll just send it back. I has good reviews about being a close shave with less irritation.

I'm not too bothered about shaving in the shower even tho it would be good to have the option, but i'll be getting that one if i do as its suppose to give a shave like a wet shave.

I have started to use Sanex Sensitive Aftershave Balm (which is available from Boots) and I have to say it is quite nice. I have tried other balms and this is definitely the most comfortable.

i guess its really different for each person, i tried an electric shaver but really didnt like it, left my skin very red and irrated. I also had problems with a normal razor i used to use a mach 3 and even when i was careful the razors always seemed to catch my spots therefore making them spread but then i switched to the sensor excel and it was alot kinder on the skin. after i shave i just pat my skin dry wait a bit then continue with the regimin.

If you insist on wet shaving I bet those cheap bic orange (for sensitive skin) are just as good as sensor excel. A razor blade is a razor blade ffs.
