Well today was day 48 of my course,, 1st month 40mg a day, 2nd month and so on will be 80mg a day,, So far i would say the acne is worse than it was before i started,, and the dry skin/lips have sucked,, other than i have had no side effects. Hopefully the turning point will be soon becauz as you can see from my pics my acne is still there and quite worse than it was on day 1.. well look at the pics and leave some feedback.

I would say that is moderate, but it's hard to tell cuz of the facial hair.

on month 2 one should expect the skin to still be pretty bad.... I think in about 2-3 months you are going to be VERY happy

Day 49, nothing too outta the ordinary, had a couple zits that i had to pick on my jawline i couldnt help it,, they are seriously less painful afterwards, and i have never ever had trouble with scarring..

i get acne in the same area as you except mine are cysts ( i can't tell from the pics if yours are cysts or not). but yea i hate it cause from the front it doesn't look to bad but when i look at my sides in the mirror it always looks really bad. in my experience though they usually clear up pretty nicely in 2-3 weeks as mine are very persistent. i'm on day 43 (40mg first month then upped to 80 starting 2nd month) and my acne is a little worse than before starting accutane. i gotta say though that it's a whole lot better than 3 weeks ago when i was getting my initial breakout. just hang in there, your acne doesn't look that bad anyway.

Ya the zits i have are just the normal stupid zits, i dont really know the technical name for them, i think i have only had like 2 cysts my whole life,, but it sounds like you and i are on the same exact course,, best of luck to ya and lets kick acnes ass so we can pull chicks left and right..

yup we'll be all of over them once accutane starts doin its thing. hell yea to that haha. what were u using before starting accutane? i was using benzaclyn for freakin 3 years and it worked pretty well until i started developing cystic acne.

oh man lets see, well i have always had mild/moderate acne since i was like 15,, i started off on differin which helped a little for a while, then i was put on tazorac which didnt do a thing, then minocycline for like 2 years, which helped a little, then i tried Proactive which tore my face to shit, then i tried dans regimen which didnt work too well and was toooooo time consuming, then i was placed on amoxicillian which didnt do anything, then hmm i was on benzaclin with minocycline,, benzaclin controlled my acne but still i wasnt please, then the derm put me on a sulfer medicine which i was allergic to now finally i am accutane, i guess i have tried the jist of every medicine out there.. and i cant wait for accutane to cure me.

Day 50 today, and nothing really new,, lips arent too dry thanks to aquaphor and i think i only had one new zit this mornin but nothing outta the ordinary,, hopefully my breakouts will subside sooon.

Well today is Day 54 i belive and the skin is lookin a little better, seems to be healing slowly, today i only had one zit on my neck but i picked it and now its like gone,, no other new ones today, i also had one on my back, but other than that its clear along with my chest... The dry lips are still bad,i apply aquaphor like every 3 hours.. chapped lips sucks,, i still itchy all over the place and i have gotten patches of eczema all over my body which sucks really bad,, but i just apply lotion and hopefully it willl go away.. other than that its a normal day,, next week i go back to the derm and i will be starting month #3.. wish me luck

Well today is Day #58,, nothing a whole lot new,, No new zits all day but tonight after work i had a little one on my forehead which is rare but its pretty small,,,, Side Effects: Very Very itchy,,, dry lips,, and i have gotten little nosebleeds for the past couple of days pretty strange.... I am going to post new pictures on Day 65,, and monday i am goin to the derm and will begin month 3,, wish me luck

Day 59,, notthing too new,,, lips are really dry and sore and keep peeling, i had 2 new zits today that i had to pick but nothing to drastic

Month 3 Day 3,, overall Day 63,, WEll i am not finally on month 3 and hopefully i will see a turn for the better this month,, i am still breaking out a little bit,, i get like 1 or 2 small zits a day on my jawline but they are fairly small, i have one big zit on my jaw line but i had to pick it and its almost dried up and gone too,, as far as the itchiness goes, its not near as bad,,, Chapped lips are still bad though... wish me luck,, from what i hear month 3 is usually a good month for most Accutane user,,, ps i am still on 80mgs a day.. and i will be takin new pics on day 65.

Your acne looks very similar to what mine was like, and you are on a simlar dose to what I was on. After my 6 month course, red marks remained but were not quite as prominent - but still enough to annoy me and be very noticable. Now the red marks are much more faded, 3 months later, but the scars are bare for all to see. I get about 1 spot per week and if I leave it alone it goes away in 2 days.. Good luck.

Well today is Day 66, and nothing really new to share,, no zits today but my face still looks gross, you be the judge , i uploaded new pics,, i am praying that this month i will start to see improvments.

DAy 67:: Couple new little guys i had to pop today, one on my jawline and one little one on my chin... i sure hope this crap kicks in soon.. my red marks are killin me,,, and so are my lipsss

Day 68,, today was a better day, i actually felt good bout my skin,, a few red spots and i noticed one little whitehead on my jawline that i will pop tonight before my shower,, but other than that, its just chapped lips,,, and i am pretty fatigue lately,, but yet again i am in college and i dont know what normal sleep is so i barely get my 8 hours a night.. well i will talk to u all later, and wish me luck

TOday is Day 75 and same crap still. Got a couple zits that i had to pick today and i saw some little clogged pores that i had to get out cuz they were botherin me,, when is this wonderful pill gonna work? Very dry lips, ears, and the inside of my nose is dry as hell..
