Hi all

Just popped into my local Boots and noticed the Boots Lutsine product range. Bit of an odd name, I thought, but seems as though it is franchised by Boots from a French company called Lustine.

The products look reasonably similar to the (also French) Avene range, although the formulations are quite different. They are all non-pore blocking.

Not tried the Lustine range, though may do next time. But the Avene range is interesting - i've used a variety of products from it, and found it to be very good. Anybody have any recommendations? I've noticed they have a 'Cold Cream Cleanser' that is non-pore blocking and moisturising. I normally use the Extremely Gentle Cleanser (basically Cetaphil in different packaging) that's about 7 quid, but might consider shifting to that if it's any good.

Anyone any thoughts?

lol, thats weird, i was just on boots online and looking at avene products and going to post on here to see if anyone has tried them...
as they are all non-comedogenic, i was thinking the anti-redness moisturiser sounds good...the "rich" one ( http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details....mp;slmRefer=000 ) has a green tint to apparently tone down redness...anyone tried this?

I've not tried the moisturisers from the range - they are very expensive, in my opinion.

I have used the Extremely Gentle Cleanser for about 6 months now and it doesn't irritate at all. The Soapless Gel Cleanser lathers quite well and is just as good. There's a cream cleanser that i've not tried, but it's huge and about 8 quid so good value. I use the Thermal Water after cleanser every day.

Have just changed to Eucerin face wash and 5% face cream, so will see how that goes. Otherwise, i'll go back to Avene. They seem to make a real effort to remove all the nasties and only put in what is needed.

i dont mind them being expensive if they work..i rekon eucerin moisturiser is expensive for what it is..
though some things like washes, all seem the same in my opinion, so i just use Boots Act wash, oil free, simple and cheap.

I have just been looking at the Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser, and it states that it can be used with out rinsing. So does that mean that you apply it with your hands like moisturiser and leave it on all day?
