Does adult acne run in your family??

I'm just wondering, because I am the only one who has suffered with adult acne in my family... .

I'm the same, I have a very large family and I am the only one with acne (out of like 50 of us)..... even the family in their teens!!!!

My father had really bad cystic acne growing up and extremely oily skin all his life. I now have cystic acne (but not as bad as his was) and oily skin. It sucks too because my mother has gorgeous skin and I didn't get hers....

I'm the only one in my family who has acne. Severe acne as a teen, and now moderate acne as an adult.

I'm the only one in my immediate family with acne. Perfect skin for everyone else. As for the rest of my very large family, one cousin in her 40's has bad acne like mine -- and she's currently on Accutane as a last resort as well.

My dad had acne and my mom has perfect skin. I think thats why my case is mild but was severe as a teen.
