Hey, I am just wondering but have any of you guys had good results with Benazymcn gel? My doctor told me that what I was using is to harsh, and just irritating my senstive prone skin, so he told me that this wouldn't be as irritating for me..And said that this is a great product, thats effective, yet not so irritatble. He warned me the first few days(no more then a week) my skin will prolly have some irritation, but will subside as I continue with it..I hope so..I am fed up with my senstive, acne proned skin. doubt.gif

THIS STUFF KICKS ASS!!!!

just make sure its got a smooth consistency and use TONS. i just use it at night but i literally make a mask, i can feel it (and see it) pulling back my skin.

it literally shrinks your pores as it heals.

I love it so much! 13 years and i never got immune smile.gif

What skin type do you have, do you find it irritates your skin?

Thanks for letting me know how great its been for you. It makes me feel more postive about it, not so afraid anymore..So thanks wink.gif

I have REALLY sensitve skin so occaisonally it will look a little pink the next day but that goes away. Start slowly with a small amount until you're comfortable using a lot smile.gif

Also in the morning use a good moisturizer. i use neutrogena moisture for sensitive skin and so far the regimen is working! you can check out my gallery. no makeup, no photo touchups and all recent smile.gif

I've had good results with this in the past, but always in combination with another acne treatment. I've used it in conjunction with oral antibiotics or other topical treatments. I first used it in 1999 and then on/off since then. Last year I was on it for about 6 months and I still saw good results, so hopefully the resistance takes a while to build up!

I've used Benzaclin which is practically the same thing except i use Clindamycin instead of the other mycin you're using...

Since it's the BP that really fucks you in the dryness category..use A TON of moisturizer...use it at night before you go to bed, put on a moderate amount at first, let it dry for 20-30 min...then fucking cake on moisturizer like frosting on a cake..you'll look like a big greasy moron, but you should be sleeping for atleast 8 hours anyways...then just wash your face and say " Holy shit, progress at last"

Benzaclin is some powerful crap and i have sensative skin, so i mean just watch it..cus this will burn your skin...like literally you'll feel like you got a bad ass sun burn.

Other than that...you'll be amazed at how good the BP in this stuff works...even though it's 5%...it's still 10 times better than the Over the counter 5% BP's...

I'll do as you say. First I'l cleanse in the shower, then gentley pat dry. Then apply the gel, and wait *20-30 mins to dry. Then I'll cake on my awesome Avon moisteriser over the areas. For intensive care I apply Propolis cream over it instead.

Exfoliate gentley(as i do) a few times during the week to get the flakies out. And then moisterise(which i do)

And if it makes me oily. I'll use my nice mask to soak up with oilies, dirt.

Wish me luck! smile.gif
(I'll think as soon as get the antibiotic, I'll make a personal log to see what it does to me)

personaly i wouldn't moisturize until the morning, it really interferes with the BP penetration. As long as you moisturize well in the AM you should be okay. Start with a small amount. Your skin will feel dry but during the day using a moisturizer for sensitive skin WILL help and won't hinder the healing which happens at night.

but do what you think is best, try different things until you find the one that works for you.

and i agree with another poster bezamycin + mincocyline = AWESOME. my gallery pics are all recent and NO makeup! it really does work!

I was on mino too, actually when I was younger. And it DID help me, a lot. But..it screwed up my period even worse..And my doctor(a month ago) told me that I shouldn't have been on it.

But yes, I'll do what you say. Moisterise in the morning after washing.
