Not sure, if this is the right place to post but I got this prescrip/med at the doc's (Tetracycline).

Alright, its been like 3 days since I started using it, and now my acne is all gone (I had like mild acne you could say or something). So now.... My acne is all gone but I have like little red bumps all over my face, I mean not just one or 2 but all over they are small as hell any idea is this supposed to happen when you first start this med? Or is this some kind of dooms day allergic reaction, I tried googling about it and found like some dude saying he had the same prob but he never got a answer, tried searching here to no avail, any body have similar issues? Or am I sol?

Oh, and if it helps I just use Tetracycline 250mg 4 pills a day.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I bet your pharmacist would. Why don't you just pop by the pharmacy where you filled the prescription and ask. If they don't know off the top of their heads, they can look up stuff on their computers.

Worth a shot.

why are you taking 4 pills a day?

I think the correct amount should be about 2 pills a day.
morning & night.

If you suspect an allergic reation you need to go the ER right away. Otherwise call your Doctor back and ask; if it's not normal he'll probably want to switch you to something else.
