I got 100% clear on the acne cure...for exactly 2 days...now I have 5 very painful pimples. ](*,) WTF!?
I am considering just skipping the glycolic for a while and using the SA and BP portion only. (Although, I have zero irritation with the gylcolic...I've just read of it being the source of problems for so many here on the board...)
What do you think? Should I do that and use up the products I have now, or toss them and head to wal-mart for the C&C products?

plus, the C&C is inexpensive, it will cost you less than 10 dollars for both, tax included.

So Botchla, do u feel that the C and C clearing wash is better than
applying benzoyl peroxide cream or gel?....u know , the type u leave on as opposed to wash off?......

indeed, but 2x a day exfoliation + 10% bp 2x a day (even if applied for a short period of time) is going to wreak havoc on my skin
but that's just me.
though i should mention i think that for most people, exfoliation is critical. that's one of the downfalls to dans regimen. no exfoliation for me = whiteheads.

i'm not going to say what's good and what's bad and what's better.. i just know what has worked for me.. and judging from the responses to this thread, it is working for many others as well.
as blahblahblah said, it seems like this regimen would be extremely drying/irritating.. but i think most people realize it's not nearly as much as they thought. the C&C SA wash is not drying or irritating at all (compared to other products like the neutrogena ones), and the 10% BP wash is only drying at first or if you get too hardcore with it and scrub it into your face for like 5 minutes every time. if you were to leave it on, yeah of course that would fry your skin, but all you do is wash with it for 30-45 seconds.
i have absolutely no problems with dryness or irritation. if you're one of those people with super sensitive skin and this turns you into a shedding snake, then sorry i guess, go try something else.. i'm just trying to help others. not everything is going to be perfect for everyone.
for those people who don't want to try it or want to criticize it, i couldn't give a damn if i tried.. i'm not hoping to screw people over with my suggestions, i'm just trying to help. your decision to try it or not affects my life in 0 ways.

Out of curiosity, have you read the thread?
and botchla - i'm not "knocking" your regimen. i think the best regimens are ones that are personalized. i could do SA in the morning and BP at night with no irritation, and it'd just be a spin off of what you do.
acne is pretty much all about customization - don't make the assumption that if 2x a day of the above products is too harsh for some people, that they shouldnt bother with the products. i've tried the C&C bh scrub and i think it's one of the best exfoliators around due to it's lack of irritation

nah, i wasn't talking about you.. i was just talking in general. you didn't even really say anything besides it would wreak havoc on *your* skin.
jenaphile, for you.. the point of the cleanser why it works better than the others (and why it got the name "continuous control") is that it is supposed to use some chemical or method to allow the BP to remain after you wash. not to the point where if you were to leave a layer of BP on your face, but enough to be effective.
if you ask the people that use it, read the reviews, comments, etc.. it is obviously a very effective product.

i was wondering, what do you do when you get sweaty during the day? like after you run or lift weights?
like i lift weights/do mixed martial arts during the day so aorund 5pm im sweaty... should i just use a cleanser (i have cetaphil) or do you think itd be ok to reapply the blackhead scrub and continuous control? or would that be too much?
keep in mind i have a very oily face and overuse of these proudcts may cause more oil
