Well, I decided to start this log as I'll be starting the 'regimen' tomorrow morning.

My acne is very mild and virtually unnoticeable from a distance. However, I do have plenty of red marks around my chin, nose and forehead that are very annoying. I also get at least one new pimple every 2-3 days which is even more annoying and very noticeable. In fact, just yesterday I got a big one on my nose.

I have never visited a dermatologist or even tried any type of acne medication in the past. Being as mild as it is, I guess I just hoped it would go away on its own. But this hasn't happened, and for about the past 5 years I've put up with red blemishes and many, many pimples.

I really hope it works and that I can join so many others in praising Dan.

I am male and 20 years old. I don't have a digital camera yet, so no pics for the time being.

Well I started the 'regimen' yesterday and I can already see a slight improvement.

The redness on my forehead and cheeks has faded ever so slightly, but enough to make me extremely optimistic. Also, I have no new pimples (except for a small one on my left cheek that was already forming) and the one on my nose has died considerably.

I started using a full finger of Neutrogena On-The-Spot even though I've never used BP before. Surprisingly, my skin doesn't itch or peel and there is no redness. I didn't even put moisturizer on last night and my skin was still fine. I'm not going to ramp up my dosage of BP just yet, however.

Now I'm off to do the evening routine!

i don't think anyone experienced redness and/or tightness after first application: don't worry you'll get there
just remember to increase gradually and put a moisturizer at least in the morning only
