I picked up my accutane prescription on Wednesday.

I was asking the pharmacist questions about the supplements I was taking, double checking that they were safe to take with the meds.

He said something about getting pregnant...and I replied, "oh, that's not an issue for me." (I have my tubes tied). He kind of smiled, like he was embarrassed to be discussing it.

Then he said something about even waiting after the meds were done. I thought he was talking about certain supplements...I said, like a month, right? He said, no "two years."

I realized he must have been talking about getting pregnant. I asked, "you mean for babies?" He said yes.

I laughed and said, "oh, no , the baby factory is closed. I already have two kids."

He seemed shocked, and said, "two kids?" Like he didn't believe me. I said "yes...I'm 39."

His reply? "Are you sure?"

I was cracking up...I have no idea how old he thought I was. Many people think I am younger than I am, but he must of thought I was REALLY young.

Guess the acne has kept me "youthful."

Ha - I get that all the time. I was at work the other day telling a story about when I turned 30. My colleague shouted "there's no way you are 30 - I thought you were about 26/27". Imagine her surprise then when I told her that I am actually 34!!

Baby factory's closing is the #1 reason the economy slips into recessions! Open baby factory's = more jobs!

SUPPORT THE ECONOMY!

That sounds like me! I get mistaken for 15 or 16 ALL THE TIME. It's frustrating especially when I go to the bar...the bouncers hassle me over my ID. I want to be like, dude, if I was going to get a fake, I would at LEAST get a better picture wink.gif

In my early 20s I used to get mistaken for a teenager all the time. The worst was when I was 22 and got asked if I was 14.

I gave credit to my "Youthful Complexion," which at the time was very very "youthful".

Now that my acne has cleared up and I am left with mainly red marks and a few active pimples, I have seemingly aged 10-12 years in the last 6. Ouch...

So true....I always get the 5-10 years younger treatment. I love it. Everyone thinks I'm 20-24 but I'm 31. My body shape is like a 18yr old so that also makes me look younger.

It's cool cuz' Im a Junior in college and they all think I'm their age.... around 21.
