DAY 1
Hello there.
To introduce myself, I am a 22 year old Asian male. Approximately 5-11 tall and 155 lbs.
Well, I had a bad case of "moderate" acne on my face and "severe" acne on my forehead during my early teen-age years (13-16) then cleared up totally by just washing my face with soap and taking Over the Counter tablets called "natures cure."
So from ages 17 to 20 1/2 , I enjoyed great skin that i've been accustomed to having at this point, but I was typically not 100% clear, I'd always have a small pimple around my chin or mouth area, I'd pop it and not think twice about it. This would typically happen once every 3-4 days or so.
Then at age 20 1/2, I began to break out SEVERELY on my face. Cysts galore. So after suffering til I was 21 1/2, I went accutane. Unfortunately the side effects were far too severe for me to continue after the 2 month mark.
But I actually cleared, and stayed clear for about a month just with the red marks. But then the small little zits slowly started to come back, and then now i have some pimples here and there along with couple zits here and there regularly.
The ENTIRE time I was on accutane, I did not use a facewash. The entire post-tane era, I ONLY used cetalphil facewash fearing a breakout.
So now Im jumping on the CSR. My acne is no longer severe, but i'd definitely now call it moderate.
Well, any tips and suggestions are welcome!

Hi and welcome!
Have you bought your CSR products yet? Which cleanser, moist, and bp are you going to use?
If you haven't decided on products yet, let us know where you live and maybe we can recommend some for you.

Hi there, Yeah i've already bought Cetaphil gentle face wash, On the spot Neutrogina BP 2.5%, and Cetaphil gentle moisturizer, all exactly as prescribed on the CSR page.
Of course, im going to order the BP from Dan's link, its alot more economical.
DAY 3
Oddly enough, the CSR is working remarkably well. Since im no stranger to bp, (i used proactiv for 4 months a year ago) I decided to start off on the recommended dosage of BP for the 2+ weeks stage. But man, my face is TOMATO red as if im on acctuane (if not redder) my face was already red somewhat due to fading acctuane side effects, but now its just made it as red as it has ever been.
Well, CSR working very well right now, thats all i've gotta say, but its only been 3 days so theres no way I can figure out if this is working for me yet.

Wassup JC:
I'm an Asian man too with exactly the same height and weight! What the hell, that's weird as hell? I'm only saying this because it is really hard to find good skin advice for Asian men. Most advice doesn't take into account the very sensitive skin we have. Not to mention the dark spots that acne leaves on asian people's skin. I just started on Dan's CSR regimen too, and it hasn't even been a week, but I'm starting to see results. I hope we can keep in touch through these logs to see what's going on.
The only recommendation I have is that you watch Dan's training video on how to wash, apply BP, and moisturize. It made a huge difference for me. Apparently my method of wash, apply, and moisturize wasn't cutting it, even though I was basically doing the same thing Dan was doing.
I'd get into more detail, but only if you need to read all of it.
Good luck, JC.

I definitely agree! I made the mistake of putting too much at the beginning and have a huge breakout now!

DAY 14
Thank you guys for all the responses and advices. Man I should've checked up on the site again, because I just decided to start with the full dose and now my face is BRIGHT red, at least it was in week 1, its still pretty red and I dont see this redness fading away by week 3 which is what is supposed to happen but....
Since day 2 of the CSR....
I have not had a single pimple.
uh....
yeah....
huh?
yeah......
but my face is so much redder than accutane red its so funny. My face below the eyes contract so much from my forehead and eyes that It looks like I was burnt outside.
But this should calm down in few weeks im hoping.
I just dont understand how this is happening to me though. Not a single zit in the areas where i've been applying BP. (which is whole face below eyes) the forehead and nose still has zits here and there, but its not bad there at all and im afraid it'll be as red as rest of my face so... either way.... im fine for now, just hope this redness stops.
Any tips on redness?

Are you on Accutane right now? Is extra sensitve skin a side effect of Accutane? May be the cause.
My face use to get really red when I would wash my face for too long (or scrub/exfoliate too harshly) and then apply a lot of BP. Don't know what exactly your method or regimine is.
I moisturize after every BP application, that really helps me with redness.
(I would feel so much better giving advice if I was doing better in the CSR, hope my input helps you figure it out though.)

Day 25
well, due to the crazy redness that wasn't fading, I decided to give the CSR a break. Funny enough, in two days the tone returned to normal, the great part is that there was no breakout either.
So im trying to see what would be the best method for me to go about now... once a day CSR? maybe Once every other day?? Would that even do anything?
Kinda lost in this whole acne control thing.
Oh and No, i have been off of accutane since April 2006. But the side effects still linger here and there, its fading though.

I think the problem was you just jumped into the full amount too fast.
This time, start out low and slow. Use only 1/4 of the recommended amount of BP for the first week (twice a day), then the second week move up to 1/2 the full amount (still twice a day) and so on and so forth. And moisturize to help keep the dryness and redness at bay.
I think if you go a little slower with it, you can hopefully avoid the tomato red face!
Good luck and don't hesitate to holler if you need help!!
