DAY 1

im taking 40mg of claravis two times a day and i will be on a low fat diet because my sisters cholestoral went up on accuatane so the doctor said to do that.
i got the accuatane after some ipledge confusion but everything worked out and now i got it. the best part is that it only cost me 10 bucks. im going to take the first pill tonight and hope for the best and prepare for the worst for the next 5 months. i will probably post every week or so because i dont want this log to be super long.

update: done with accutane and am clear now.

how did u sort everyting out? when ucalled ur pharmacy and then they called ipledge did they sort it out or wut?

Congratulations! Good luck. I see My derm In two weeks And last time I saw her she said depending on how my skin looked she would put me on Accutane this time. So I may be starting up my thread soon too. Hope everything goes well for you.

How long did it take you to get the accutane after your doctor registered you on ipledge?

it took me a day after i got registered. the ipledge website is very vague on what you need to do so my derm was very confused on the process. all worked out though.

i was also very surprised with 80mg a day since my skin is more persistent and not cystic. hmmm, i guess my derm just wants to kick acnes ass or something. oh well.

DAY 3

i said in my first post i would post every week but my face looks a lot better today so i thought id post. i havent had much side effects other than my lips being a tiny bit dry but im not even sure if that is from the accutane. also my inflamation and redness is gone and my skin looks and feels so smooth right now and i only have 3 active pimples but they feel like they are not even there. there is no way it could be working this quickly. oh well im not complaining.

i also cant wait until my ib. that should be just great!

DAY 4

ok i said i was going to post every week in my first post but for some reason my skin is clearing so quickly and its only day4. iv been washing with Dans cleanser which is the best cleanser in the world imo and adding purpose spf 15 lotion 10 minutes after. iv also been putting on dans bp every now and then during the day cuz iv had a few zits that have been very itchy lately and the bp soothes it and dry em up and theyre going away fast. i still have no idea why my skin is clearing quickly cuz i dont think the accuatane would kick in this quickly but i have had side effects. my skin is an orangish color which is fine with me cuz it looks tanned and my lips are dry when i wake up in the morning but aquaphor gets rid of the dryness.

ill keep updating whenever i feel like their is a noticable change or i feel it is time for an update!

WEEK 1

ok well my first week is down and all i can say is that i see results but i woke up this morning completely dry. not on my face but in my nose lips and throat. i am having some peeling though. i can tell dry lips will be a problem but i guess ill just have to deal with it. um right now i have 2 active pimples on my right cheek and 3 on the left but theyre small and are drying up. if i see any changes i will update again but if no change is noticable i will wait a week.
