Naked juice is pasturized so all the nutrients are destroyed. All you need to do is go to the grocery store and buy leafy greens, put em in the blender, and in 1 minute, you'll have fresh green juice that's not pasturized and has chloryphill and all good nutrients that feed your skin with life.
I sound like an infomercial.

Damn. Ok. I was hoping their green machine juice would be an alternative, but I guess not. I really dont like greens except broccoli and I cant imagine drinking it. But I'll look into this soon. (Dont really have the money for it)
Thanks

For the fruits, would you recommend i use oranges? or is it too much sugar? and what other fruits are there that are low in sugar besides pears, and green apples?
It might come out bad for you, but keep trying! I remember making green smoothie for the first time.. tasted really bad.
Any kind of berries will do! Also, mangoes gives an incredible taste. Bananas is good if you're not allergic to it. However, they're high in sugars. Good luck with your smoothies.
PS: Orange is not needed.

Oranges aren't the best for masking the flavor of the greens. You might consider a veggie smoothie. They are actually very tasty!! There's a recipe for it on the first page as well as a link for low GI foods that you might find helpful.
yvonnelilly,
So cool that you grow your own wheat grass!!
BeadyB,
Since you like broccoli, you might just start with veggie soups. You can blend up some broccoli (you can use frozen broccoli even) with some broth, add in some frozen veggies, some beans or maybe brown rice, seasonings, and you have a very easy to make, nutrient-rich soup! You can even blend broccoli with pasta sauce - it's great!! Good luck!

This is a pretty long topic, so I have sadly not read the entire thing. So because of this, I am just going to ask this question. Do these smoothies, if used consistantly (I assume one glass a day?), really treat acne? I have not so nice (though I have thankfully seen worse) cystic acne, and it really has had me down for a long time, messing with my already low confidence. Will this help with that?
And what are other diet changes that I should make? I have thought about cutting out most processed foods, as well as dairy. Will this help? Also, should I cut out ALL dairy, or just lactose? I have been eating pretty... crappily recently, for reasons I would rather not go into. I assume any change for the better would help some.
And finally, what are some good ingredients to start with? I assume lower sugar ones? Though it would be nice if they tasted good, part of me does not care...
Thank you in advance for help.

Anyways, I will definately PM you. :3 I am thinking that getting a better diet, along with getting more/better exercise, as well as lowering my stress will all work to make my acne better. :3 I of course am not certain, but I have some confidence in that.
And as for supplements... I dunno, something about them has always scared me... I also hear that you should check with your doctor before taking them... but I really do not like mycurrent doctor... also embarrassed that it has not gotten better yet, since I was always hesitant with the medcine she gave me.
Are there any risks to these supplements?
And I will hang in there. :3 Got two years before it matters.

I usually drink the same thing though everyday - I am very busy not much of a chance to experiment. Spinage + tomato + apple + lemon juice. Tastes awesome though.
