I've read before that you do it for 15 minutes. That can be kinda difficult though. I just put the whole ice cube over the entire pimple and hold it there.

How long does it take to actually see results. Like will the actual pimple decrease in size dramatically by the next day?

It only works on the early stage of a pimple after that icing a pimple will not help.
Dont leave the ice to long you dont wont ice burns on your skin.
I do 5 min then wait 1 min do 5 min again.....

I think ice is more for the type of pimples you can feel below your skin but haven't come to the surface yet.. I don't think it works on pimples that are already fully "out"

I've used ice before when I've been picking at something and it just won't pop. Then its usually red and sore even more than it should be. The ice works just like it would on a bruise, and usually helps.

i iced this HUGE deep cyst which was so darn painful everytime i moved the facial muscles around it... Thankfully the ice numbed it or something, cause it didn't hurt that much anymore after. It reduced the swelling just a little bit, so it didn't really do much in terms of making it disappear.

i think i held the ice on top of the cyst for 15 mins or so.

I briefly ice my skin twice a day whether I have any active spots or not. I also ice any active spots for several minutes - 2,3 times a day. It does seem to help reduce swelling and inflammation.
