I started using Boots Simple cleanser and I dries out something rotten. Was it the cleanser or the weather?

more than likely its the cleanser, my favourite 2 cleansers are:
- Boots ACT washbar
- Simple Soap
all you can get from BOOTS.
try them and you should be fine, remember excess drying means you have a harsh cleanser, which means its irritating which cause acne.

Odd. I use it and fine it very good. It's only when I apply BP at night and just use them two that my skin dries out.

Well i wouldn't go for the Boots ACT one as that is very drying, also i've found the Simple soap to be a bit drying aswell.
I'm using a Biore cleanser right now and its very gentle, doesn't cause the skin to dry out at all, its non-comedogenic - hypoallergenic - pH neutral, so very good for use with acne i'd say, oh and it smells very natural, of apples i think, and its lovely.
