Live with it, understand it ,study your skin ,also read about ways to get rid of wrinkles ..that would make ur skin look better by pumping up collagen
u must get ride or acne first before u can get rid of the sucker.

And retin-a micro works good improving skin...i love it...u must follow directions wisely and use as its stated...U also sound young man so just live ur life and dont worry about the scar man ...my friends would always say...to anyone when they got boring or didnt do anything... "your a teen bro...ur not 40..live up ur like" but beond that man ur goodlooking...one scar man comon...and u can get retina-micro at the doctors or derms...u even can get it online

Please ignore KJ's replies. Kj's opinion is not indicative of the majority on this board. The rest of us respect your feelings and are sincerely interested in helping you with both your scarring and your emotional outlook. You are welcome on this board and I feel your pain.

I don't have the type of scar you have, so I cannot really give you any tips/advice on how to deal with it. I'm certain that someone will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Keep your spirits up, my friend.......you're in the right place for solutions/assistance, that's for sure!!

u guys say wait a year then treat it? what u mean by that exactly its basically scared from when i had a big cyst pimple in febuary and shaved over it and cut it thats why its scared i was putting aloe on it and a few weeks ago i guess that aggravated my skin and i got another pimple under the scar tissue but it went down and i dotn think it made any new damage from what i can tell just made it a little more red.

do u think the tape method is to early to do on it?

and when u say treat what do u mean what kind of treatment?

What kind of scar are we talking about?? Depth? Width? etc...

Use a reference like the size of dime (or something).

Yeah, I get miserable too because I have a rather reddish scar on my neck which has been around for a while. I havent used any topical treatment at all or injections or peels or anything like that. I've been told by derms, plastic suregons that they are useless. Let nature take it's course and let it heal is the advice that docs give us. Yeah right. They fail to understand that it has an effect on people with their appearance. AHHHHH!!!! I sympathise with everyone here
